Great for any Cadet T El Cid Anytime or a graduation gift

I’ve only read a little bit so far, but will continue, it is so historic! My grandson goes there, so I’m interested, good read.

As a 1966 graduate of The Citadel, it was good to see this as another of the history series. In particular, I liked the photos, the brief entries with some continuity about the different stages of The Citadel's history, and the fidelity to what I know from entering in 1962 to the present time. As with other books by this publisher whether about towns or cities or colleges, there is never enough but to scratch, touch, the surface to see the layers underneath. And this trait is a good thing to spark a reader's curiosity, to know more and to learn more.

Great book on the schools history and very informative!

I purchased this book as a gift for my son that is a graduate from the Citadel and he found it to be very interesting and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Perfect book for anyone considering The Citadel, currently there, or a parent of a student! Great history - Awesome college!
