Purchased primarily for snipping the leads off axial components like resistors and capacitors, so the blades didn't have to be particularly tough. They did need to be small enough to get into tight spaces though. These do the trick well, angled just enough so that I can snip the component leads to the right length on the back of the board before soldering it. Like the spring action. Comfortable grip. Been using for a couple of days now with no issues. They are probably not suitable for cutting heavier duty wire such as bike cables, etc, but great for light electronics work.

Probably the best budget wire cutters out there.

Onto my 2nd pair of these now. I got a great amount of use out of my first pair and only bought a 2nd pair because I started using the first ones to cut guitar strings, which dulled the blades. They're not really meant for that so it's on me that they went that way. So got the 2nd pair to keep just for trimming component legs when I'm building circuits. Brilliant little cutters. Can't fault them. Look no further.

Used to clean spot weld residue from batteries. Was brilliant fir thqt and wire stripping, gereral light electrical work. Used to cut dogs claws and jaws snapped and flew off like shrapnel. Hence low mark as don't fail safely otherwise better than many more expensive ones.

Bought these to cut zip ties flush and they work a treat.

My old flush cutter had worn down to nothing and I needed a new one. Didn't expect much from this one as it's fairly cheap. But low and behold it's actually very good. Solid and cuts anything I throw at it. Think I'll buy another one.

It makes very precise cuts with low effort. Very comfortable to handle and the spring makes it very easy to use.

I'm a panel wireman and regularly use 'snips' I've had rs ones that were brilliant but after a while they tend to break. Baught these just to try and I can honestly say these are better and 20 pounds cheaper. I've used these for 2.5mm cable hundreds of times now and honestly wouldn't but anything else.
