I bought this as it was sprung on us last minute that my son needed to make a bonnet for an Easter parade at nursery. Being pregnant, I didn't want to traipse round shops looking for things and having to buy a glue gun which will never be used again just to assemble it.Everything was easy to do and the decoratings were peel and stick, and most importantly my son loves it. Knocked a star off because it could have done with a bit more double sided tape to keep the eggs and the shredded paper on a tad more securely - not sure how well it will fare with my son toddling around with it on his head. Have a feeling we may lose the eggs!However, for a fiver and hassle/mess free you can't go wrong. Considerably cheaper than buying all the components seperately and ending up with loads unused and wasted. The sewing of the hat may need an adult to do, but kids will love doing the decorating.

All the items didn’t fit. Had to improvise to make it work.

Both my boys entered an Easter bonnet competition at school and one of them won! Great for teaching children sewing and placing skills to decorate.

This idea was fab, see your own Easter hat. However I nearly had tears from my 6 yr old when we couldn’t make the hat… the side was too long to sit flush and complete. Ruined his Easter bonnet project. I even tried missing a few holes but that didn’t work- there were no instructions either

The pieces of the bonnet were very straight forward to make with everything that you could need included.
