I bought this skirt because I’ve really been enjoying dressing up for every day things lately. I don’t have an event like a renfest or a comic con, but it would work well for either one of those things.I ordered the size according to my measurements - an xl instead of my standard large (I weigh 165 and I’m 5’7 with an hourglass figure). It ended up fitting loosely in the waist and I’m ok with that as there is a drawstring I can cinch it in with. It is voluminous and long, which I like and that might not have been the same case if I would’ve ordered a smaller size.I purchased the khaki color and it is a warm caramel mid-toned brown. The fabric has a slight sheen and is neither flat looking nor rough to the touch. It was definitely quite wrinkled out of the bag and the many layers are a lot to go through and steam properly. I think steaming is a lot better and easier than ironing all of that would be! It has a sewn in nylon half slip, a full rayon skirt, and four panels of the same fabric that add volume. It’s fun to twirl around in as the panels flare out and whirl. Makes me feel like a princess…or rather, at my age, a queenI think it’s well-constructed and worth the price I paid for it. There’s a timeless quality to the style and I hope to get more than a few wears out of it this year. I’m certain that it can carry me through at least three seasons with the proper footwear and tights if needed.Hope I helped!

Forest green, xL 5 ft 9 158 lbs. fits great. Good color. Steamed press. Hang’s nicely, fabric feels good. No loose threads, nicely made.

Soft, light-weight material, but several layers' worth, so it isn't TOO light. It's lined, and additionally, the decorative pieces of fabric sewn on the outside of the skirt provide extra modesty, so it isn't see-through.This is the third skirt I've bought from Scarlet Darkness, and the fit is consistent. Be warned: these skirts are cut to fit at your natural waist, which means they hang longer than you might expect if you are like me and tend to wear your skirts lower on your hips.Like their other skirts, there is ample fabric (although to be fair, I bought the largest size, XXL), the cut is flattering, the design attractive, and the material nice and flowy. I could easily see myself buying another in the different color.

I felt like a fairy princess in this. It is very comfortable but hard to style. It is a beautiful green and fit perfectly. The fabric has an amazing feel to it and the lining is very comfortable. 100% worth your money.

The media could not be loaded.  Very beautiful and comfortable skirt! The material is lightweight and flowy, perfect for summertime wear. Very happy with the length as well; I’m 5’ 1” and always have trouble finding maxi skirts that don’t drag on the floor when I walk, but the size small fit me perfectly. Also love that the pockets are deep enough to keep my phone from falling out when I sit down, and the elastic waistband and drawstring are great. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I was a bit disappointed with the “layers”; I wish they had used wider pieces of fabric and continued the stitching further around the skirt, but other than that, I love it! Will definitely be buying some more in different colors

I love this! I got it originally for a Renaissance fair but have started wearing it outside cause it makes me feel pretty and like I'm living my cottage core life.It's a bit long on me (gotta hike it up under my boobs or roll it so I'm not tripping over it or letting it drag, might have to consider hemming it some for my height but otherwise just as advertised and comfortable!

Im 5'2 and weight 130lb. The length is fine for me. It fits perfectly around my waist and the material is soft and somewhat heavy, which make the skirt fall just right. Has pockets 😊. Really great skirt

The waistband is a big tight so I recommend sizing up. Other than that, one of my favourite skirts!
