Not sure if this is necessary or not. but can't hurt. I feel it will extend the life of the PS5. Teen knew how to put it on without directions, so very intuitive. Would buy again.

I love this fan for my PS5. It’s not very silent, but in comparison to others? I think it’s great.

I think this item is a really great deal. I like the blue light it makes on the playstation because it lights up the entire shelf I have it on. My playstation has been noticeably cooler since using it. It still gets a little warm, but not as bad as before. Also its pretty quiet once it gets going, after using it for a while it makes a loud noise sometimes when first turning on, but that goes away pretty quickly.

Okay so yeah it does what it advertised.. However, after just 1 week the fans began making noise. Doesn't really affect performance, and usually quiets down after the PS5 gets a little warmer. Not sure why that happens.. The lights still work, but when put into rest mode the fans stay running, which could be taken as both good and bad. Given the fact you have to manually turn it off.. Not a big deal, honestly I was very satisfied and surprised. Surprised at the ease of install and the fit. All in all I'm giving this one 3 stars, given the fact that it doesn't hold up great to wear and tear. I suppose the fan blades have expanded due to the exhaust heat of the PS5!

So it’s a fan that blows air in and when the lights get warm your blowing hot air into the console and honestly my ps5 started making weird noises when I used it
