Worked beautifully until the return date expired, then it died. I now have a nice 48v adaptor and nothing to use it on.

Item broke within a week. Definitely not worth the £40 I spent on it.

The product is good. However it is very loud and it does burn your finger if you touch it for too long. You need to follow the instructions carefully regarding the settings on your phone for playing music through Bluetooth via the app.

The media could not be loaded. This is a fantastic STEM toy and novelty gadget!It worked exactly as advertised. It can play square wave music transmitted over Bluetooth with its unique sound, it creates electrical archs that can be varied in size/intensity and frequency, and you can even touch these arcs (but not the needle itself)!I've not experimented with placing food and other items onto the needle to conduct the electricity (as ive seen people do on YouTube), but I plan to try this.It is a little on the loud side when the power is turned up (that's lightning for you!), but other than it's great!Given the limited applications of this gadget I can see some people being put off by the price, but as a curiosity piece, it is definitely an attention-grabber!

Dosnt work with music, let's off a nasty burning 🔥 smell and the only thing I could get it to do was pop , and tbh that was disappointing, waste of money, poor quality and it's a bit pointless if it doesn't work as it states to

Nice design. Can produce decent sparks and illuminate supplied gas discharge bulbs. One switch position allows pulsed operation giving nice tree-shaped arcs. The other position allows music to be played through it using bluetooth. A player which produces square waves and is supposed to give better reproduction is offered for download. I have only tried using youtube music and found the sound acceptable.

Good value fun, works well

It’s a great fun to see electricity sparking in the air. However, what you need to be mindful that this is really LOUD. Sparks sound like someone would slap a heavy notebook at the desk with full force. I couldn’t see this mentioned anywhere, it will annoy everyone in your surrounding, and scare animals as well.
