I thought it would be a bit on the poor quality side, but I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was made. Works very well crimping the very small terminals too. Recommended

The set ìs excellent for model railway piont work, and extentions of cables makes quick and easy work

I was expecting these to be like all the other low cost crimpers, namely ok but a bit fiddly and inconsistent. But these are nothing like that! Easy to use and so far completely reliable crimps, and even with the tiny 1mm pitch connectors, the crimp tool securely fastens the wire and then releases the crimped terminal afterwards (unlike many others where you have to try to gently prise the crimped pin out of the tool, and end up damaging it).In addition, the selection of pins and housings included are also decent quality, and to top it off, the case it all comes in actually keeps the tiny pins separate!I will be buying one of the other sets with the larger capacity crimper too…

To be honest I just wanted a simple crimping tool quickly, and this was one of the cheapest available (the branded ones on RS will cost this much for just the die set). I was expecting cheap and cheerful, barely functional. I'm very pleasantly surprised! The mechanism is smooth, the grip is comfortable, and it also comes with an adjustable tension and quick release. One of the real perks though is the case it comes with - its a very nice two-tray setup, which fits the crimper in the top and a set of compartments below for crimps (with removal dividers). It also comes with a boatload of different crimps and housings (although I tend to just use JST this was a neat surprise and I imagine I'll use them on occassion). The construction of the case is also good, and it holds the compartments well - everything was still sorted and organised after shipping, whereas some of the other plastic boxes will 'blend' compartments if you shake hard enough.So in conclusion, I'm very pleased with this purchase and would very much recommend.

Compré esta crimpadora con su juego de conectores para poder modear mi impresora 3D en condiciones, es muy sencilla de usar y si sabes hacerlo bien, que no es difícil con un poco de práctica, se te quedan unas conexiones maravillosas.

Als ich nach einer Krimpzange für JST-HX Verbindern gesucht habe bin ich fast vom Stuhl gefallen, als ich die Preise der Markenhersteller gesehen habe. Daher habe ich mich für dieses Set entschieden und bin sehr zufrieden. Die Zangen fühlen sich wertig an und funktionieren ohne Probleme. Zudem wird je nach Set eine große Auswahl verschiedenster Steckverbinder und Buchsen mitgeliefert, mit welchen man auch für kommende Projekte gut gerüstet ist. Die Verbinder sind natürlich keine Markenteile was sich auch in der Qualität und Verarbeitung widerspiegelt, reichen jedoch für DIY-Projekte aus. Für dauerhafte Installationnen würde ich jedoch Originalteile bestellen. Alles in allem ein gutes Set.
