Four great films--one brilliant box set. Mission: Impossible: Tom Cruise ignites the screen in this runaway smash hit that "holds you on the edge of your seat before blasting you out of it" (Howard Rosenberg, Los Angeles Times). Cruise stars as Ethan Hunt, a secret agent framed for the deaths of his espionage team. Fleeing from government assassins, breaking into the CIA's most impenetrable vault, clinging to the roof of a speeding bullet train, Hunt races like a burning fuse to stay one step ahead of his pursuers... and draw one step closer to discovering the shocking truth. Offers German language dubbing and subtitles. M:I-2 The world's greatest spy returns in M:I-2 . Top action director John Woo brings his own brand of excitement to the mission that finds Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) partnering up with the beautiful Nyah Hall (Thandie Newton) to stop renegade agent Sean Ambrose (Dougray Scott) from releasing a new kind of terror on an unsuspecting world. But before the mission is complete, they'll traverse the globe and have to choose between everything they love and everything they believe in. Offers German language dubbing and subtitles. M:I:3 Tom Cruise stars as Ethan Hunt in this pulse-pounding thrill ride directed by J.J. Abrams (Lost, Alias). Lured back into action by his agency superiors (Laurence Fishburne and Billy Crudup), Ethan faces his deadliest adversary yet - a sadistic weapons dealer named Owen Davian (Oscar® winner Philip Seymour Hoffman). With the support of his IMF team (Ving Rhames, Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Maggie Q), Ethan leaps into spectacular adventure from Rome to Shanghai as he races to rescue a captured agent (Keri Russell) and stop Davian from eliminating his next target: Ethan's wife, Julia (Michelle Monaghan). Offers German language dubbing and subtitles. Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol No plan. No backup. No choice. Agent Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his elite team (Jeremy Renner - The Avengers and Simon Pegg - Star Trek) go underground after a bombing of the Kremlin implicates the IMF as international terrorists. While trying to clear the agency's name, the team uncovers a plot to start a nuclear war. Now, to save the world, they must use every high-tech trick in the book. The mission has never been more real, more dangerous or more impossible. Offers English audio description, Italian and Castilian Spanish language dubbing and Italian, Castilian Spanish and Dutch subtitles. Review: Worth it for the fourth film alone - It took Mission Impossible a few films to find its formula. The fourth movie is by far the best. The third is very good. The first two have their moments and great actors. Cruise was younger at the start but the stories, scripts, action, humour, heart, entertainment got better in this franchise. The fifth and sixth brilliant instalments are not included. But one to four are. Worth it for four alone. Great cast. Great story. Great entertainment. Review: The part of a lifetime for Cruise - Tom Cruise is one of those actors that I really don't like but I find him in films I enjoy and so it is with the Mission Impossible franchise. These films suit Cruise in that the role feels like one he was destined to do and I have to give him credit as he does a great job in these films so if I can see past that and love these films then I can only imagine what people who like Cruise must think of them. A great series with amazing action scenes and brilliant acting throughout.

Great Price! Poor Delivery
I love all the Blu-rays that I bought. I had not intended to re-buy movies on blu-ray that I already had on dvd, but after buying the Harry Potter set at such a great price with prompt delivery. I bought seven of the "sets": Mission Impossible, The Mummy, Indiana Jones, Toy Story, Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, and the Bourne series. The prices were unbelievable and they all play fine. I am especially happy with the Toy Story series as I have waited a long time to buy it in the States and can't. I bought this set, and while the title didn't say Region-free, the detail did. And yes, it, along with all of the others played fine on my U.S. blu-ray (well, I just made sure the machine could read them). Delivery was another issue. They did not come when promised. I called Amazon and the were VERY good about it. They offered an immediate refund, no questions asked---except, I didn't want a refund. So, they changed it and resent it. I received Jurassic Park by itself, and as of 3/14/13, still have not received the other six. However, the original box arrived about 3 weeks late, ripped open, but will all of the blu-rays still there. Well, at least I got them, they all play, the price was FANTASTIC, and Amazon service gets an A+ for caring. I tell all my friends to order from the Amazon UK site. Oh, I was very surprised to to see that the price shown INCLUDES shipping, which I didn't find out until I ordered. Again, just make sure anything you order says REGION-FREE somewhere in the product.

Good entertainment.
I'm not a massive fan of Tom Cruise and that's the main reason why I never fancied watching Mission Impossible. Let's face it, first and second parts were rather bad, but parts 3 and 4, I really enjoyed them! They got me hooked, I needed to watch part 5 immediately and looking forward to the newest one.

A good blu ray conversion is mission impossible
All 4 movies are absolutely fantastic, but it's the Blu-ray conversion that lets them down. Absolutely no effort seems to have been put in by Paramount to transfer the movies to Blu-ray. MI:1 has a grainy conversion which looks good in parts, but is almost blurry in places. MI:2 is a marked improvement but has many scenese where there's also a soft blur, especially on long distance shots. MI:3 is the first one out of the bunch to actually impress, and MI:4 must have had an official Blu-ray release from the beginning as it is the best looking and sounding of the bunch. As far as the movies go: MI:1 - Remains an absolute classic Brian De Palma thriller. It has a good plot and is well placed. The Langley break in is still every bit as good as I remembered. MI:2 - I loved this when it was released, but I was a naive teenager back then! It has not aged well and is easily the worst MI movie of the bunch. John Woo delivers with some great (albeit cheesy) action sequences making it very watchable. But it's a bit too tongue in cheek for my liking. MI:3 - I was a massive fan of this too when it was released but it clearly suffers from classic JJ Abrams storytelling where there's a lot of blanks and mysteries that you have to fill in as a viewer. However, Seymour Hoffman has an excellent turn as the villain and should have been utilised more. The bridge sequence in this movie is quite possibly one of my favourite action sequences ever. MI:4 - this has some fantastic locations and a pretty decent plot. The action sequences just get better and more innovative. Lowest point of this movie was Brij Nath...why, oh why! The recent conversion of the MI series to 4K will hopefully yield a new box set containing properly remastered Blu-rays once MI:6 is released. My advice is to hold out until then.

Extra molti e interessanti in SD. Buon film in generale in ogni caso. Extra molti e in HD. Voto FILM: 4/5 Voto AUDIO: 4/5 Voto VIDEO: 5/5
