Okay
Pieces were cheaply made, had a piece arrive broken. The three player game is much easier to use than the four. I would recommend getting the square chessboard for four player. So far we played one three player game which one has to be careful the 3rd player checkmate both the other players and took the game! Keep the board flat it creases instantly. We used a 16inch round cake pan to play on made it easier for turning the board, the board fit on it perfectly. Overall it works great for three player not for four and it was great fun.

Chess club loved it.
They asked me to buy this for my husband who runs the club. There was great excitement when he picked people to text play it.

Tiny pieces that will do in a pinch. Don’t pay more than 25 dollars for this.
It comes in a drawstring bag in a brown box. Very small, lightweight pieces that fall over of you look at them wrong. The pawn is a little taller than my thumbnail.

Novel idea and can be fun with the right players
I like being able to roll up the game mat for easier storage and how it's nicely two sided for 3 and 4 player variants. I don't like that it took a full 24hour of leaving it on a flat surface with a heavy box bigger than it on top to get it to lay flat enough to play on. I would've preferred normal game-board material that folded up or even a cloth matt that wouldn't get stuck with a good bend in it whenever I unroll it. It's hard to enjoy a game of this without pre-planning to flatten it out first. The rules included are pretty clear and give examples for each piece's movements and capture options. there's a set for 3-player and a separate set for 4-player. It's pretty intuitive after giving it a couple games. Four player version you're mostly worried about those on your flanks as you can't directly invade the person opposite you, nor they you. Three player is more an open melee unless some alliances are made to gang up on on player. The rules offer a points system over multiple matches to determine the victor overall. The included pieces are on the smaller side and a mostly hollow plastic pieces. This doesn't help the problem of the matt getting and being curled. The four colors are distinct enough to not have confusion to which pieces are whose, but they don't all match up to the colors on the board, which could be confusing to some.Bottom line: Not a terrible thing to grab to try out the multiplayer chess variants. I'd recommend having a way to store the matt laid out flat if you're going to get this though.

Reasonably well made, but maybe not well explained
The board game in this set is a reasonably thick sheet of PU leather (or maybe vinyl leatherette? Hard to tell). The pieces are well molded, though I wish they had more weight to them. There is a nice bag to keep everything in. The only thing I would add is some mesh drawstring bags for the pieces - those arrive in single-use plastic baggies, and once those are opened you just have loose pieces. The game itself is playable, but there are some (literal) edge cases that the instructions don't call out - some squares on the board have branched diagonal paths, and I can foresee arguments about which one is the "real" one .If you want to be pedantic, my game board cuts the points off of two of the corner squares (just a little bit), and the white pieces should properly be grey, to match the rest of the colors.

Good Product
This product comes as advertised. instructions are clear and the board and pieces are durable. The carrying case is convenient. The games themselves are enjoyable for those that like regular chess.
