good book but its already obsolete
Its good book but its already absolute there is a new version of book released.

Very half hearted attempt from the author it seems
This book may suit people familiar with JS SPA framework front end based ASP.NET applications. I lost interest at chapter 3. Coming from several years of desktop application development in engineering domain, I bought this book hoping to learn a bit about creating a razor based UI that works in web views in desktop compatible frameworks, like MAUI blazor hybrid. But instead of narrating how to make simple UI elements and layouts in the beginning, I see the author is starting to show how to do a complete app, and that too without explaining clearly the UI requirements, features and functionalities of the app in detail before writing the code. In my opinion, a book on UI should begin with teaching how to make the UI first, rather than making the back-end code first.
