Really nice
Way better than I figured, drop down viser works fit prefect. Comfortable and light on the neck glad I pick this one.

Maybe if I can grow my hair in fuller.
I like the styling on this helmet. From the matte black contrasted gloss/reflective graphics to the drop down sun visor. The ear flaps n strap being kinda retro also get kudos. But the helmet fits slightly large.Maybe the fit seems off because I'm used to full face helmets, I just can't get over the extra wiggle. Maybe I'm just losing too much hair. It has a DOT rating so California riders are legal. There's no ECE rating which is typically a requirement for any of my helmet purchases - letting it slide because of the fun factor.

Great Fit (for me)
This helmet fit me well. It looks good and feels secure but the visor is very close to touching the bridge of my nose and the chin strap can be difficult to manage both going on and coming off.

Neat design & comfortable
I just received this helmet and I was impressed with the design on the sides! Subtle, yet well-done. I wish the strap was a little easier to work with. The helmet was very comfortable when I tried it on and felt secure when tightening the strap. I also like the flip-down sun visor!

Does not work with prescription glasses
**Sorry for the long review, but I had a lot to say. If you want to know why I gave this helmet only 2 out of 5 stars then please read on**This helmet is DOT certified as stated on the back of the helmet.I got this helmet for my wife. After measuring her head with a tape measure and coming up with 59 1/2cm we ordered the helmet in the Large size. The helmet showed up with a scratch on it.Now my wife has an intermediate oval shaped head. When she tried the helmet on she said it was to loose. I removed the neck curtain, by unzipping it and unsnapping the 4 snaps that hold it on to the helmet, and turned the ratchet mechanism a few times to "tighten" the helmet up (if you've ever worn a bicycle helmet with a ratchet system, it works just like that). She said that it definitely got tighter and fit her better. I asked her to lower the visor and she was unable to do it over her glasses (The visor struck the top of her glasses and wouldn't go any lower). She also didn't like how the back of the helmet cupped the back of her head when tightened to fit. She said it felt "weird" and was a bit uncomfortable (I have to agree with that sentiment). When she took off her prescription glasses the visor slid down fine.I have a long oval head shape and this has got to be one of the few helmets (apart from my Arai Signet-X) that fits me right out of the box, front to back, (my head measures 61 cm exactly, which is an XL in their sizing) and when I used the ratchet mechanism to tighten it it certainly gripped the back of my head. I could feel it tighten on the back and front of my head but still shimmied a bit from side to side and did not hug the sides of my head. This leads me to believe that the size that was supposed to fit me, XL, would have been WAY to big on the sides and this is more of an intermediate/ round oval shaped helmet. I also found the way it gripped the back of my head to be uncomfortable. I also could not lower the visor over my prescription glasses so the two of us would have needed to wear our sunglasses with this helmet. When I took my glasses off and lowered the visor it struck the top of my nose. When I tried moving the visor up so that it wasn't sitting on the top of my nose it didn't dim enough of the sunlight to make any difference. For a half helmet it felt heavy (per my digital scale the helmet weighed 2 pounds 92 ounces). And I could certainly feel the weight on the front portion of my head. The strap that secures the helmet to your head is over a foot long, per my tape measure. It's nice that there's a way to snap the end of it up and out of the way but it is still to long and either it doesn't feel secure around your chin or there's a whole lot of extra strap flapping in the breeze (even after snapping it). The D rings held the strap securely. The brim isn't large enough to actually block the sun from your eyes unless it is directly over your head. You need to use a philips head screw driver to remove the brim on the helmet. When you remove the brim you are left with a hole in the front of the helmet and two (what look like rivets) on each side. The neck curtain zipped closed and open, but would always get hung up in the same place, and wouldn't continue along the zipper without a few tugs. The little pockets in the neck curtain will hold a headsets' communication device speakers (as long as the speakers for the headset were no larger then 3 inches side to side). I'm honestly not sure how you would go about securing the rest of the com system to the helmet, as the inner liner is not removable. The inner liner does feel soft to the touch. If you enjoy a half helmet, with a custom fit, that allows for a bit of warmth in the cooler months and don't need to wear prescription glasses, or a com system when it gets to warm to wear the neck curtain, then this helmet might work for you. However, with all the issues I had with this specific helmet there is no way I can recommend it.
