Okay, so this product is well worth purchasing. Tthe water taste significantly improves and it is fairly easy to fit yourself if you have some plumbing skills. The first thing to understand is if you are fitting it to a 15mm water pipe which is normally the standard size pipe for UK domestic you will need a 15mm T piece. I used quick fit one as you don't need to do any soldering with this type of pipe joint. I then purchase a quick fit 15mm to 3/8inch push fit straight connector and a 3/8 inch push fit isolation valve. All you have to do then is make the cut in your supply pipe using a pipe cutter (making sure you have turned off the water first) and then fit the15mm T Piece. Next you need to insert a piece of 15mm pipe into the t piece and then fit the straight 15mm to 3/8 inch push fit to the other end of the pipe. Once you have done this you can fit a piece of the supplied 3/8 inch pipe and then fit your isolation valve and thern put the other end into the filter. By the way the inlet to the filter is the bottom connection. The instructions don't tell you this they say there is an arrow on the filter indicating the water flow. ( There is not) but to confirm. Water inlet is the bottom connection and the outlet to the water tap is the top one. Hope this helps.

I've used this for about 10 weeks, so I can only comment on my experience so far. The unit was easy to install and provides a good flow rate. Water tastes markedly better and seems softer, although I still do get some build up of scale in my kettle. But the killer feature of this filter is its long life - I considered a reverse osmosis system by ultimately decided against having to replace cartridges to keep it in service. As far as the product marketing spec goes, this is something you can install and then forget for several years.

Excellent product and quick delivery. Water taste really good and better than tap water. Tea and coffee taste better. Easy to install. I don't have to worry for the next 3 years to change filter. I just hope it will still be available in 3 years time.

I can only speak from my personal experience but I bought this hoping my London tap water would taste a bit nicer but a year on I haven't really been able to tell the difference.I have no plumbing experience but with the instructions and some of the advice in the comments I did manage to do it myself but I had to buy a few extra parts to achieve this.Part of me thinks I must have done something wrong as this came highly reviewed, so I'm happy to revise this if my issue can be fixed, but water goes in and water comes out so I'm not really sure what I could have missed.

The kit came with its own tap as I have granite worktops I used exsisting tap it was a bit fiddly but not too much trouble as long as you have basic plumbing skills.but once fitted and let water run for about 15 mins our water has never tasted so good in last twenty years I have lived here no more smelly water or bad taste another bonus no more having to fill water filter jug it’s a win win after reading other reviews on this I decided to order mainly on the fact filter should last three years time will tell but if it does it will be good value for money but so far very impressed

I was under the impression that a water filter filters the water of all impurities. This does not remove limescale so had bits floating in my water. They have given me a refund, for which I am grateful, but I have still wasted over £100 having the plumber install it and drill into my worktop to fit the filter tap. Have now resorted to a fridge filter jug which I now have to buy a cartridge for monthly which I thought would no longer be necessary if this had worked. My plumber had to source a fitting as it doesn't come with UK fitting. If I could give no stars I would.

Brilliant and efficent company.Product really good and so easy to fit and use.I have ordered 2 now one for the Azores and one for UK.Both work well and the water quality is excelent out of the tap :-))Cant fault them would recommend company and product 100%

Crystal clear water on tap, fantastic. Should be relatively easy to install, however as I wanted the tap fitted at the back corner of the sink it requires a fairly long box spanner in order to tighten the nut underneath as there is little space between the bowl of the sink and the cabinet. Maybe an idea to supply a cheap tool with the product for those who do not have the right tool available.
