I never review items but this thing worked so well! I regularly brush my dogs teeth but she still accumulated quite a bit of tarter on her back molars as well as some yellowing on her top canines! And this thing got it off in less than 10 minutes! Granted she’s used to me messing with her mouth! But with training sessions I think this thing was SO very worth the money to upkeep her mouth!! Works just like an ultrasonic cleaner! It doesn’t move when it touches the gums but works only on the teeth!! Polish their teeth afterwards and this product was a bang for its price!! Will continue to buy these for any future pups of mine!! 100/10!

Very bad!

This sonic cleaner is a game changer for cleaning off tartar. Very low hum and multiple speeds allow finicky dogs to possibly endure. I was amazed at how it cleaned tartar from my very old JRT who hated having his mouth touched. Regular vet dentist bills were outrageous and this helped between visits. (I even use it now on my own teeth and my hygienist said to keep doing whatever i am doing!)

I wanted to love this - I am surprised by other reviews saying it was silent. It is.... until you actually touch a tooth, or other hard surface, and then it is like nails on a chalkboard screeching sound. While we have dogs who are great with us brushing their teeth and in general have no problems when we use the hand tools to scrape any plaque build up off.... this tool is impractical for home use, even on the best behaved dogs. We made use of the hand tools that came with it, but that's it. Very Dissapointed.

I was excited to use this on my dogs teeth. This makes absolutely NO SOUND when you turn it on, I only knew it was working bc I accidentally touched a surface and heard it ringing. So it does work, in that sense. It does not remove very much tartar from dogs teeth. If you carefully use the sharp point you might be able to scratch off some, eventually. I like that it's quiet but wish it was more (harsh?) and actually get the chunks off. +2 stars for how convenient and quiet and -3 for not doing much if anything-UPDATE- I spent about 20 mins on this tooth. (See photos). And it looks wonderful! That's all he could sit through but I'm excited to work on the other side. Saved myself $400+
