Absolutely love this stuff always buy it

I love this shaving creamIt comes in a nice plastic container and has a lovely subtle scent to it and lathers up in no time and yes you really do need a small amountIt has a "protector" as well which separates the cream from the lidYou have to unscrew the lid then lift off the "protector" in order to get to the cream - this reminds me of Trumpers tubs which have the same thing inside themOverall the best cream I've used/bought/lathered and I've tried Taylor of Old Bond Street, Proraso, Body Shop, Hawkins and Brimble, Harry's and my personal favourite Executive Shaving branded creams also

the scent of the Lavender is nothing great, the cream itself is good though, wouldn't say it's any better than some of my favourites in my rotation though, would i purchase it again, probably not the lavender one, i also have the Lime variety in my rotation that I've still to use, so I'll see if thats more favourable when it comes around in my rotation, but as for the Lavender as i say it's ok but not one of my favourites 🤔

This shaving cream doesn't justify it's reputation and it's cost. I have been wet shaving for over a year with different shaving soaps and creams to say that Castle Forbes cream is an average pricey product. I have used it twice, the first time using the PAA cube that masked it's inefficiency in slickness as the cube is an extremely slick soap. Today I shaved using the EJ preshave cream and I discovered what other reviewers said about how slick less it is living it's hype. The scent is amazing, best lavender I smelled like the real flower however it's not slick and the lather has the same consistency as a foam can. Post shave feeling also bad, my face was dry nothing compared with other soaps or creams I used cheaper than CF. I am keeping it but will never buy it again.

Great product

For this price I expect a full container. This seems to have been under filled to me. Rather poor presentation of the product in the tub too. Perhaps the quality of the shave will make up for my initial disappointment.EDIT: Having used this for 9 months, I have completely changed my mind! This is an awesome shaving cream with a wonderful lavender scent. I look forward to using this every day. It causes no redness, even on my very sensitive skin and it always produces a brilliant soft lather. I've changed my initial review from 1 star to 5 stars, because even with the poor presentation, the quality of the shave is incredible. It is actually incredibly good value for money and I have re-ordered!

Been using this product for a couple of months now and it works great. I have problems with sensitive skin and shaving bumps, ingrown hairs etc but this is working as part of a new shaving regime.Also doesn't require huge amounts so will last for ages

Just had my first shave with this , mekur progress 510 astra sp blade alum block , followed with arko gold splash,. If like me you think this is expensive , you are in for a suprise it's worth every penny .It is the best shave I have ever had , ticks every box and then some, I have over 200 soaps many high end , and this is the best , very comfortable shave very happy strongly recommend by me.
