Basket arrived broken, see attached photos. Replacement basket requested to be dispatched.

Fits a treat and does the job!
/edit After a couple of years, areas of the plastic mesh base have broken and can allow knives to fall through.Has lasted almost 3years and we use unit daily, so not overly surprised. I will get another but I also stand by statement of just being careful placing cutlery in the basket, and point sharp ends up will increase life span of basket. Would prefer something that lasted but nothing seems to anymore!I left it a few months to write review as others had mentioned the bottom breaking over time.I have not found this problem and the holder is still in one piece.I can see how the base could get broken parts, dropping knives into tray can dent/cut the plastic.However, I am a little more gentle than that and place the crockery in the unit.Overall;Good quality at a good price.

Pretty much the same as the one that came with the dishwasher
I'm not going to say this is amazing is just a basket ,the one that came with the dishwasher lasted about 8 months and this one looks exactly the same so i expect it will last around the same time. It's frustrating when they break but I guess this part is almost becoming a consumable now I paid £12 I'm sure you can find it cheaper , if you have to but one every year it's not devastating. Does exactly what it's meant to just don't expect it to last for ever.

Just Right
A different colour to the original basket but otherwise identical. This is the second time I have replaced the basket and this one seems the sturdiest to me so far.

Holding cutlery in dishwasher it works very well and should last a while

Excellent basket
This basket has a practical design for its purpose. I bought it to replace the original basket that was provided with my Smeg dishwasher which has the most ridiculous impractical design and was driving me insane! This is a perfect fit, I suppose the measurements are standard. It looks sturdy and well made, the sticker said it's a genuine part and it certainly does look it. There are many universal identical baskets advertised but people complain about the quality so I opted for this one and I think I made the right choice. Recommended.
