Decent solution
I used these two hold a dehaired buckskin while I tried to soften it. Some of the clamps held and others came off repeatedly. I had to measure and cut the included rope myself which was not a big deal but be aware. I don't know if it was my hide or the clamp that caused some to release but softening the hide with a wood block obviously puts more pressure on the clamp than scraping hair or flesh would.

It arrived wrapped in plastic and that’s it. No boxing, no directions and the picture is misleading as there is no frame
