What can i say. This item is perfect. The set up was easy, it took about 30mins, and then your ready to do whatever you wish. Having used other programs and cutter before with my job i kinda know what to do but if you have never used anything like this before you will be fine. There are loads of videos on line that can help you and everything is easy to remember. The actual cutter and a good size and sits nicely on my desk too. I would fully recommend this item to anyone. The only down side is this item does not come with a UK plug, sadly mine came with a EU plug so double check with the reverent seller first. I haven't taken marks away for this point as it does everything it was designed too, i took the points away from the seller! If you buy this item enjoy it!

Wonderful machine and after some experimentation I'd recommend spending more on good quality vinyl for small labels or you may have difficulty with small letters coming loose. The software is easy to use and having Bluetooth makes it easier if your machine cannot be positioned close to a computer. I use it to create plant labels for my allotment and will be making some personalised birthday presents in near future, all one-off and unique, as well as making some home decorations to fit my new colour scheme. Many possibilities yet realised.

I had wanted one of these for a while and was keen to buy, having watched the price on Amazon over a few months. I was put off though by the difference in price of purchasing here in the UK with Amazon.co.uk, compared to purchasing in the US from the Amazon.com site. The machine is/was almost double the price here, which is ridiculous for the same product. It wasn't just the exchange rate and it also wasn't the customs costs, because it would even have been cheaper to purchase this as an import from the US than to get it here, although nowhere near the saving as buying in America. I can't understand how if I, as a single buyer, can import one machine for 'x' pounds, that Amazon can't import a great batch of them for considerably less! However, all that aside, I did purchase when the price was at one of it's lower levels (it fluctuates quite a lot) and I love the machine. It's taking some getting used to and learning how to use a range of materials with accurate cut depths etc. (and don't get me started on the registration mark issues, that's worth a star less than 5!) but on the whole it's a great machine. Very clever and opens up a whole load of possibilities with everything that it can help to make. I plan to incorporate more Silhouette cut designs into my stationery and hope that it will be a great investment.

Wasn't supplied with a UK power lead so unable to try it until I can source a lead. Not sure it is legal to sell stuff in the UK with a 2 pin unfused power cord! Found a power cord so can test the machine. It's easy to setup and use, so it seems to be a good machine. Pity it was unusable out of the box and had to find a power cord. If it had the correct cord it would probably been 6 5 star.

I bought this after wanting it for at least 3 years but could never justify the cost, but Amazon reduced the price and I'm very happy with the outcome. I do wish to add however I had quite a few teething problems. Setup is fairly straightforward and you can connect via Bluetooth to cut, however, the blade in my silhouette was not calibrated correctly and so it took a loot of YouTube videos and pondering to work out what I was doing wrong. My first few attempts at it I cut through my medium and the cutting mat which at £11 per mat I was pretty vexed. After several failed attempted I called in the husband and we decided it wouldn't get the better of us, sometimes you just need someone else to come up with a new word to Google. He suggested calibration and hey presto within a few minutes we discovered the blade was not at the same position as the software was indicating. We were able to recalibrate it very simply without much instructions, then it started to work like a dream. It does make quite a bit of noise when cutting, but nothing I can't live with. Have enjoyed personalising gifts for everyone this Christmas, made craft activities for my children's clubs, have designed and made my own t-shirts, cut out enough children's crowns for a birthday party and countless other things. One I got it to work there was no holding me back. Have not worked out how to print and cut, but I have managed to repair my cutting mat, use it successfully, wash it and it's resticky after washing. All thanks to YouTube. I have also bought generic vinyls, crucit vinyl and silhouette brand and they work equally well. I have silhouette sticker paper, but as it's American sizes I will be trying out generic sticker paper suitable for my printer.

Bought one of these for the kids to play around with. I’ve been so impressed with both the software and the machine. I spent some time working for a sign company in the past making vinyl graphics and the software that comes with this is very powerful, but simple to use. The cutter is easy to set up and works well.

The machine itself is fine. But didn't come with a uk adaptor so gotta buy one, you'd think for £168 it would be included 🤷‍♀️

Happy Birthday to me!! A shared birthday gift! If your friends don’t know what to buy you ask them to chip in.. Love it. I’ve now cut out the middleman and doing my own craft jobs. Set up was quite easy, registering I think I made a few mistakes, made the most of the freebie designs/fonts on Silhouette Studio, now that was a bit of a headache. Uploaded them then couldn’t find them but finally they showed. Listen trial and error you will get there in the end but I love it now I can do my own designs, If your getting someone else to do your little jobs then do what I done buy one of these little machines..Thanks Amazon & Silhouette..AAAA****

Utilisé pour réaliser des découpes de scrapbooking, j'ai été impressionné par la qualité et la précision de la découpe. La lame automatique simplifie le paramétrage. j'ai testé également la fonction dessin en remplaçant la lame par un support stylo (en option ou pour ma part imprimé en 3D) c'est parfait. Les seuls points qui posent un peu problème, sont : - l' absence de documentation du logiciel à télécharger sur internet, heureusement on trouve de bons tutos amateurs - le prix un peu élevé, surtout des accessoires - le bruit lors de la découpe un très bon produit qui fait bien son travail : à recommander

Está muy bien para realizar trabajos esporádicos, la máquina es una pasada, la única pega y tampoco es tal sabiendo de antemano las características de la misma, es que de haber sabido lo que mola usar un ploter, me hubiese comprado la Cameo (por el tema de tamaño más que todo) más sin embargo el portrait hace sobradamente y muy bien su trabajo.

Ich nutze das Gerät hauptsächlich um kleine Folienbeschriftungen für Autos zu gestalten und auszuschneiden. Das klappt hervorragend schnell und absolut schnittsicher. Mittlerweile hat das Gerät auch schon 300 A4 Seiten mit Spielgeld (Monopoly) geschnitten. Das Gerät als solches und die mitgelieferte Software ist unglaublich einfach und intuitiv zu bedienen. Ein komplexer Schneidevorgang auf einer A4 Seite dauert etwa 1,5 Minuten. Das enthaltene Messer ist ebenfalls prima - es passt sich automatisch an die in der Software angegebenen Schnitttiefen an und schneidet extrem sauber. Man sollte möglich immer die mitgelieferte "Schneidematte" nutzen, das das Papier oder die Folie am wegrutschen während des Schneidevorgangs hindert.

Come da descrizione, arrivata nei tempi concordati, ben protetta nell’imballaggio Più che soddisfacente se si utilizza per uso amatoriale, facile da mettere in funzione, un po’ meno capire i passaggi per utilizzarla al meglio, comunque sono molto soddisfatto del prodotto

Habe den Plotter gekauft, um Folie zu schneiden und genau das tut er auch super. Die Installation am Mac war sehr einfach und schnell, man musste nur aus dem Netz die Software laden und dann konnte es losgehen. Eine Rolle Folie war schnell eingespannt und nach kurzem Probieren hatte ich den Dreh raus und kann nun jede Menge Projekte umsetzen. Bislang gibt es nichts zu beanstanden, der Plotter funktioniert einwandfrei. Für den Preis echt super! :)
