My kids are very into building “houses”. We bought two sets of these and they have really enjoyed them. The designs are well thought of, with various types of connectors to make sturdy structures as far as imagination leads. Quality is top notch as National Geography products always have been.

Let me break it down for you:Wonky Joints: The joint pieces are like rebellious teenagers—they refuse to connect at the angles I want. It’s as if they’re playing hide-and-seek with stability. Spoiler alert: they’re winning, and my patience is losing.Flexibility Overload: Half of these rods are so flexible they might as well be made of spaghetti. I tried building a fort, and it collapsed faster than my hopes and dreams during finals week. Seriously, even a gentle breeze could knock these structures over.Rod Wrestling: Connecting the rods to the joints requires the strength of a superhero. My poor son struggled, and he’s no weakling. It’s like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole while blindfolded. Not fun.In summary, this kit is a total letdown. I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy (okay, maybe I would). But seriously, save your money and sanity. Invest in something more reliable—like a pet rock or a rubber chicken.

My grandson loves it

Purchased two of these after researching many of these kits. This shows such sturdy fixings, and the tubes are considerably stronger than others tried previously, but unfortunately, the frame once assembled into your chosen shape is quite wobbly, and have therefore returned.

Awful, doesn’t stand properly, not enough clips. Avoid.

Was given as a gift to a boy who enjoys building tents, make believe rockets and such. Was well appreciated and used on the same day.

It's a great idea for kids but with one kit the fort once built was flimsy

Not the best product

I purchased 2 boxes and still not enough pieces for my 8yo grandson to build a decent fort.

But kids do not always play the way it was designed to. My kids use those sticks to fight and spread the parts all over the place. I ended up collecting them and keep in garage.

Fun! Easy to follow and set up, and very adaptable to small or larger “forts”. Just be careful when building with little ones, the metal pieces are sharp, hard, and may stick out while building. Very durable!

We have built forts time and time again with this kit but I wish I would have gotten the larger set because this one limits what you can build due to less pieces and connectors.

Bought as gift for my son. He was so happy with this item! Putting together, he did need some help as he wanted it shaped like a spaceship. Held together pretty well so far.
