Been looking for a mouth guard to wear at night to stop grinding my teeth! Lots are very expensive and didn’t want to waste money on something uncomfy !! This was on offer so purchased and it’s easy to mould to shape ,comes with 2 small and 2 large guards and a tray to keep it in after cleaningCan be cut to size too so a real bargain and can actually sleep with it in !!Very pleased with this product

Really good quality item. Comes with multiple guards which are so easy to mould and cut and a handy case too. Comfortable and not too bulky to use. Sits in place well.

2 Stars – Uncomfortable and IneffectiveI had high hopes for these dental guards, but unfortunately, they didn’t work for me. The material felt bulky and uncomfortable, making it hard to sleep through the night. Even after following the instructions carefully to mold them, they didn’t fit properly and kept shifting in my mouth. After a few nights, I actually woke up with more jaw pain than before. I really wanted these to help with my teeth grinding, but they just didn’t deliver. Disappointed overall.

Really easy to size and adjust, they're quite durable as well. I'm an avid grinder and I found that my jaw hurts less in the mornings vs not using the mouth guard, I'm sleeping better.Functions well and I didn't have to pay the extortionate amount the dentist charge. Worth it just for that.Slight gum irritation but usually goes away in the morning after brushing, could be a ne thing.

It was a surprise when during a dental check-up that my dentist asked me if I knew I was grinding my teeth. She said that there was obvious enamel damage starting to appear. I was unaware, but when I thought about it I did recall clenching my jaw now and again while watching TV. The more I thought about it the more I noticed I was doing it. The bite guard recommendation from my dentist was £100 for a thin, transparent and horseshoe shaped dental night guard, including two appointments, one for an impression of the teeth and the second for adjustments and fitting. At the end of all this, my ‘treatment estimate’ stated that this treatment will not stop the habit of grinding or clenching, and in rare cases may reinforce the habit! Why would I want to spend £100, plus travel time and costs, to try something that might not work? So I turned to Amazon for a less expensive option to try and was pleased to find Dendawen dental guards for a fraction of the price … and they would be delivered next day direct to my front door. The packet contained four guards, two large two small. I immediately prepared a large/adult guard. So easy to mold to my own jaw impression; an exceptionally good fit. I’ve had two nights with the guard so far. It’s comfortable, unobtrusive and I’ve had a couple of good night’s sleep. All the signs are good. I'm very pleased with the product. I know it’s early days but already I have no hesitation to recommend this tooth guard. Maybe I’ll start using the guard while watching TV!Moving on .... I've used the dental guard now for 4 weeks. All that I said above still stands. But one added bonus ... my wife claims it has reduced my snoring by 98% ... she is also very pleased with the product.

They are easy to use if you follow the instructions. The end product is ok and has done the job for me with doing at home teeth whitening with syringes. They aren’t as defined as dentist bought moulds but they do the job!

1-month Usage ReviewBackground: I've been wearing a mouth guard at night to stop grinding and gum erosion for 6+ years. During that time I've gone through 4 different guards, each one custom made with new teeth moulds made each time. Costs have varied for each one between c. £150 and £250. After a failed initial use of a thin guard my dentist upped me to a thick plastic guard which I've had for the last 3. With holes beginning to appear in my 4th guard and facing the prospect of a minimum £200 cost for a new guard I thought i'd try out a different approach using one of the mould-your-own guards.Review: My first attempt at moulding one of the 2 thick guards in this pack using hot water was not hugely successful, same for the re-moulding attempt. I ended up with overly thick bits at various points that I could not shift. However I knew what I did wrong and my second attempt went very well with perfectly consistent thickness everywhere and the guard fitting snugly and naturally. I have since worn the guard every night for the last month. It is marginally thicker than my custom £200 guards when I first get them and so it took a few nights to get used to. After then they work just as well as the custom guards, which i find pretty shocking given the cost of the custom guards. I am not expecting them to last as long as the custom ones but as this 4-pack (including 2 thin guards I've yet to try out) cost me under a tenner I really don't care. NB after a month I can see little evidence of the plastic being ground down so I am confident they'll last a decent amount of time.Overall verdict: These are a remarkably cost-efficient alternative to expensive custom guards. If you are used to custom guards, try these but make sure you follow the guidance on moulding them!
