Dr JohnHypoallergenic Dry Dog Food Chicken with Oats, 15 kg

I have two dogs with sensitive tummies. A Siberian husky and a GSD. Neither dog had any adverse reactions during the changeover. I had only tried the chicken flavored food at the time of writing this but decided to order the twin bags. The order was delivered ahead of the due date, which was a pleasant surprise. This product represents excellent value for money as of now my dogs have both finished their bowls so they are enjoying the taste and I have not had to throw any food away and because of its very good price I also am happy.I have recommended this product to two family members with sensitive dogs, both GSDs one with sensitive skin the other with a sensitive tummy. The one with sensitive skin is now using this product, and the other is still testing this product.I chose this product initially as it had a good zinc additive content (essential for huskies as a lot of them suffer from zinc deficiency and as yet Nanuk has not had any flare ups.), but now have more reasons to be pleased I did. Excellent price, no more waste, healthy dogs - great product.

So today is the 1st time we have tried Dr.johns grain free. We have 2 dogs, they aren't fussy eaters so it does make it easier to change. My frenchie has allergies and we not 100% sure if it's food related but he would chew his feet until the red raw, itch his ears till they bleed its been horrible and heartbreaking. We didn't do the transition over days because the other food was so bad for him I just wanted to change him off it ASAP. So this morning is the 1st day. He ate the full bowl no problem didn't rush it took his time which was nice to see. His stools look perfect. We cleaned his ears and pads after his breakfast and he's now fast asleep infront of the fire. He hasn't chewed his paws he hasn't itched his ears. Surely it can't have happend that quick but that's the only thing we have changed and he looks so comfortable and content. I no it's early days but been such a relaxing morning not stopping him chewing and itching every minute. Fingers crossed this continues.

Got this as an alternative to Harringtons as it wasn't available, this is significantly cheaper than Harrington and dogs love it just the same, definitely my new repeat order

This food suits my dogs’ tummies. One of them is very sensitive and itchy but is less so on this food.

My Staffy enjoys this food. No problems with skin or tummy. Good value.

Happy with the biscuits but delivery was for the 25/05/24 but this delivery hasn’t turned up now the 26th . Not amused as waited in the whole weekend for a deliver but no luck .Hope someone reads this and gets back to me.Norman Fraser.

Decided to swap our 2 Newfoundlands food as one of them was itchy and I know chicken is a common allergen (which was the main ingredient in their previous food)This is lamb based (although it does still have some chicken stock in the ingredients list so will have to see how we go...)The ingredients were good (as far as processed foods go) and even better it was a bigger bag for a few pounds less than our last brand!We bought new wet food at the same time.It's only been 2 days and we're still mixing in some of the old food so it's too early to tell if it'll help that but they absolutely love it! The one who is quite fussy and often doesn't bother to eat breakfast has been waiting for it the last 2 mornings and I've never seen their bowls so clean!One of our dogs is on antibiotics and we've been having to give him them separately to his food as he leaves them. Now with this new food we can just put them in and he eats it with them in no problem!It's too early to say if it'll help with the itching (and we don't even know if it food, it could be pollen) but taste wise this certainly hits the spot!

Tengo un mestizo de pastor intolerante a todo menos al pollo y al cerdo. Compre este pienso para probar porque todos contienen uno u otro ingrediente al que era alérgico y este en principio no. Pero le sentó tan mal en el estomago que afecto el ph de la orina y pillo infección de orina.... Todo esto haciendo el cambio paulatino tal y como recomendaba el veterinario. Una pena porque tenía buena pinta, pero en mi caso no me funcionó, tuve que volver a la dieta de eliminación y más adelante probar otro pienso que de momento tras 4 meses si que le ha venido bien (country diet).
