It works
It works and charges. Needed an extra one for another location and was told that the chargers were hideously expensive. It was expensive for a charger, but not for an Mac charger.

I am hoping to get a replacement or refund?The charger stopped working after a few weeks.Seems to be poor internal wiring that's preventing a current from running through.

Cheaper but at a cost
This was my second time buying an off brand Apple charger since the last one stopped working unexpectantly. My last charger worked perfectly well for around 2 years.However with this new charger, I immediately noticed that while it did charge well enough, it was emitting this awful high pitched noise from the plug. I have been advised that getting an off-brand charger might also damage the laptop (not sure if this is just to get you to buy the real thing but the noise made it untrustworthy.) I decided to go and get a second-hand charger from CEX instead.
