Lots of reviews stating 2 hours to put together, not a chance. Great bit of kit every item marked so very easy to follow instructions. Some good advice take the complete box to the area you intent to install, to save a lot of back ache ideally have 2 benches (I used 2 patio tables) lay all items out and check in case of missing parts, you can put all parts together by oneself until you need to stand the frame up then it’s a 2 person process all very easy if you follow instructions closely.

Cream shade, frame colour grey. Very well made worth the money, reasonably easy to follow instructions, definitely need 2 people. Will work well in our south facing garden. Would recommend to friends and family.

Brought this Pergola on the rating of stars it was giving and I wasn't disappointed. I'm a 60 Yr old female and managed to assemble it alone. I have only one small complaint is that one of the top caps to the legs was missing but after getting in touch with customer service they very quickly mailed one to me. So I would highly recommend buying one of these Pergolas from Purple Leaf. Very quick delivery and excellent customer services. Very happy lady 😁

Don't buy it without having plenty of time to send it back and re-order before you need it. Bought this in the week to construct a day before people coming over. Turns out one of the pieces was missing 4 holes (obviously a great start), then when you look at the construction of the pergola, it's obviously not exactly cut to size, which is why it doesn't line up and they give you the X item to cover that up in the middle (you have to force this down). And then after finally getting over those hurdles, none of the holes match up. Now got the pain of repacking this for collection as a return

We purchased 3m×3m pergola. Really pleased with it. We didn't find the instructions until we'd virtually finished as it was tucked in between the side cardboard packaging. Hey ho. Printed the essentials off Internet. It went together well, sturdy, don't know about how waterproof the canopy is ,as it hasn't rained yet ,would you believe. Think it's really good value for money. Looks really good. All in all I think uts a good buy.

Short answer is yes, All beam members are aluminium, instructions are great and easy to follow, Allen key bolts are good quality. What lets it down, well first off it arrived damaged by a puncture through the carboard with a fork lift dented tbe beams, 😔. I didn't spot this on delivery as the puncture was on the bottom on the bottom of the box, delivered by 2 guys?? It's heavy so needs a 2 person.lift. After moving to garden for unpacking it became obvious. Decided to build it anyway as it is is a right pain to get anything like this back to Amazon. Instructions are easy to follow just like Lego ones. Bolts holes are poorly aligned and you need to wiggle or drill them out slightly to fit, very poor cutting this should not happen on a product of this cost. It needs 2 people to help position uprights and cross beams, I can see light through the cover in cloud so not sure of UV protection, will see and update later. Once assembly easy to lift with 4 persons and position. Canopy doesnt have a tie back so used a velcro strap ,one I had spare . So I would purchase this again despite issues just check the box carefully for holes.

To fit where I wanted to put it the measurements given in the specification had to be accurate and there were. It was fairly easy to assemble, a spare pair of hands required at certain points. Everything was well marked A,B,C etc so quite simple to work what went where. When constructed the sun canopy slid easily into place. Now the four stars not Five. One of the uprights had a slight dent in it. It didn’t happen in transit so went into the box like it. To be fair I never contacted the company as I was able to put the post dent where it can’t be seen. The canopy could do with a rail lock mechanism as the central strap doesn’t hold it securely furled when it’s windy. Some sort of covering when closed would be good as the canopy when closed acts like a series of gutters. Eventually the canopy may well stain if water sits in the gypukkeys. That aside I’m pretty happy with it.

Brilliant ticks all the boxes. Product arrived slightly early so great. Sadly took 2 days to install due to bad weather. Its sturdy and well made although one the roof bars hadn't been fully sprayed and roof material had a series of flaws. Emailed Purple Leaf new parts received very quickly no hassle. My only regret is not getting bigger one.
