Am yet to try this on a flight but looking forward to it. I got a rechargeable mini air pump which made it easy.It's soft and has 3 heights you can use it for

fills in the gap. I ordered for a couple of uses that I have not been able to try out yet but should work. 1. to make those red eyes where I can crunch up a little bit with my legs elevated to get a few winks. Even worse if those flights are canceled and have to stay overnight in the airport I can fill the gap between the gate seats and my carryon to get my legs even with the seat without much of a gap.2. I like having the ability to choose how many chambers to blow up and adjust the height. Seems well-made, sturdy yet soft, and holds air well. Also easy to inflate and deflate, and easy to repack quickly when getting off plane, etc. I also like having the cover to keep dirty feet from being directly on the footrest. I tried using it at home while sitting on couch and found that for that purpose, it was not stable enough to be useful - even when right against the couch, it leaned too much (forward as well as side to side) with even tiny movements of my feet. That’s why I took off one star. I did not like it for home use, but I think it would be very useful when it is wedged in between the seats on a plane, etc..

Her knees get sore if her feet don't reach the ground, and on a recent flight she used this and said it helped a lot. Hopefully it'll last.

Relieves pressure on my son's dangling legs from his carseat during a long drive. Easy to inflate, deflate, and store in between uses. Adjustable height options. Only a mild odor. Use with supervision and intention; it will pop a seam if jumped on. Fair price value.

I can't recommend this enough! Super lightweight, easy to inflate, and fits perfectly between backrest and airplane seat. We took a 9 hour flight with our toddler and he slept nearly 5 hours straight using this. We will never fly without it!

The fabric on this footrest / bed is very soft and I love that it comes with this drawstring cover to keep dirty shoes off of it. I blew up the small chamber for this picture. That will make a nice height for the airplane. I should still be able to put my tray down without my knees hitting it. It only took a couple of minutes for me to blow this up and a few seconds to deflate it. If I want the footrest a bit higher, I'd only blow up the larger chamber and deflate this one (it's twice as tall). It comes with a sleep mask and set of earplugs as well.If you plan to use this for a bed for your child on the plane, you would inflate both chambers and they would have to be unbuckled to lay down on the seat and extend over this. They could be sitting and have their legs straight out I guess. No matter what you use this for on a plane, you will have a harder time getting to your carryon that's under the seat in front of you.

This inflatable footrest does the job without taking too much room. It comes in a little bag so you can put it back when you want to store it. It goes about knee high for me and I’m 6’4” so it’s decently tall. If you have a small pump it inflates quite fast and it’s pretty firm. The only thing that I didn’t like is that it’s gets a little unstable when you are trying to balance your feet on it but once you find the right spot it’s great or just lay it flat and it works better. After a few times of usage you will need to add a bit more air to make it firm unless you like it a little flat. Great overall though.
