Best Portra 800 Alternative
I LOVE THIS FILM. This is the least expensive color negative 120 film on the market, producing professional quality results. It’s even cheaper than Kodak Gold 120.My biggest tip: Overexpose 1-3 stops. This film does not handle underexposure well, and shadowy areas at box speed can look muddy sometimes.Pros:- Color rendition- Neutral Color- Latitude- Sharpness- High light sensitivity- Price to performance- AvailabilityCons:- Shadows look muddy when underexposed- The film CURLS, making scanning an absolute pain. This issue is so bad it impacts my decision to shoot it at times

It's almost P800
If you have a really good lab, you'll be able to imitate the look of Kodak 800. I love this film! It is a consumer film so you want to give it a lot of light and use a light meter to get those setting right. I rate at 400 and it does great!

Start point for this film is super frustrating
So I just bought a bulk of lomo 800 and 400 for a upcoming shoot because of how much I love the colors of this film but I soon faced a problem when loading my Mamiya RB67. idk what it is but when I try to load the lomo into my rb67 I have to go pass the start line in order to load it or else the film will literally come off the spool. I know it can't be my film back because I can load Kodak and Fuji film stocks without a problem.

Stick with Kodak
The quirky color this film gives is really attractive, and if you have a Holga or similar camera, I'll bet it's just right. You'll especially enjoy the colors in low, mixed lighting situations. Hard, bright light also translates interestingly, with cyans and magentas really popping like an old Technicolor print.I used this film in my Hasselblad and did indeed get some fun results. I also got a not fun result of discovering that this film doesn't do well in Hasselblad backs. The start point of the film is different than typical Kodak or Fuji 120 film, leaving the 12th frame cut off. This effect wasn't helped by the fact that something about the film causes there to be unusually large gaps between frames. I've shot Kodak Portra before and since the Lomography rolls with no issues, so it's not a calibration issue with my film back.Another not so fun feature is that this film is generally more expensive than professional brands.

ISO 800 Lomography 120 film
I would usually avoid such a high ISO as it can cause problems with grain, especially when using lomography cameras! But no problems as of yet, as long as you control your camera to the best of your abilities and bear in mind the changed aperture settings. Quick delivery, will use again!
