We bought two of these lights for camping, and we've purchased at least three more to give away as gifts. Nice range of brightness settings. And the red setting is a nice option for preserving night vision, or if you happen to be on a beach where light is restricted because of turtles.

Great light. I use this a lot when I'm doing network upgrades in unlit IDF cabinets. The magnet holds very well. Just wish it wasn't so dang expensive.

I've been buying Fenix lights for a long time now, I've had great luck and their build quality/features are the best.IM got this a couple weeks ago, and have put it through some good use, and can report that it is the best camping/boat light I've ever seen.It seems to run forever, I left it on for a whole day on medium and it didn't run down. It charges super fast and is bright as the sun. The magnets are very strong. I've even left it illuminating my flag for three days of rainy weather and nothing got past the charging port cover. I'm confident that this thing will last me a long time, as long as I don't lose it (like my wallet the other day)I would suggest this light to anyone, actually, I suggest you make up some lame excuse for needing one just so you can have one... You'll be a happy camper, I gaar-on-tee it!!!

Warning to anyone looking to use this for 300 luminaries for any length of time. Deep in the users manual, it states that the light gets hot so when you use the 300 lumin setting, it will run for 30 mins then step down to 150 lumins. Then it will run for an hour at that then it steps down to 52 lumins. So if you are out using this light, in an hour and a half, you are not going to have much light. Keep that in mind.
