It is a great watch for a child. I bought it for my 8 year old to keep contact after school.The seller guides you through the set up process.You do have to buy a SIM card to put on the watch. After, you activate the Sim card and reach out to the seller so he can set up the APN. You can upgrade the Sim card plan later or at activation.The watch has the option to video call, voice call, and voice chat. There's an app you need to use to input contacts, the link comes with the watch.Loving it so far!

After 3 SIM card replacements this product still didn’t work

The watch works well, I found it to be the best option to be in touch with my kid without having the fear of a misplaced or lost cell phone. The setup was pretty smooth even though it took some work. The watch company is very responsive through WhatsApp. You need to purchase the SIM card and call the SIM card company to activate it and produce a phone number, then you need to reach out to the watch company to finish the setup. Now I can call my child, he can call or text me, I can take pictures remotely from the watch, he loves the pedometer function! Overall I am very happy with my purchase!

I thought this product was a pain in the but to set up. You have to buy a SIM card and contact the seller for him to set it up. I just can’t be bothered. Maybe it’s a great product but I could not get Past the set up process

Purchased this item for the GPS function and it's ability to text and call without a cellular plan. Unfortunately attempting to get this product to work properly, it took over 3 days and it still did not function. You will get a set of poorly translated instructions that don't even remotely help. They also advise for you to get in contact with support to assist. I don't understand why just a set of well written instructions isn't possible. The back and forth between "support" for 3 days was more than frustrating. If you are looking for a take it out of the box and insert a SIM then add some information just look elsewhere. Furthermore, the GPS function of this watch was off by a solid mile. The watch interface is bad. The display is bad. It's all around horrible. Don't waste your time or money.

I am delighted with this watch, everything works very well. With the help of the seller, after purchasing the SimCard, he helps you configure it. He explains all the steps very well. Thank you so much.

For the price and the difficulty setting up in rate a 3 star. The amount of unnecessary work to setup watch is ridiculous. Make sure you get a SIM card and add services to sim card so watch can actually be used. Tracking is off so be advised.

A solid, simple, accurate kids GPS tracking watch! There are many other brands that I have tired with lots of extra features but terrible relativity, meaning watch breaks after few month.This watch has been with my kids for good half year with no single issues or concerns except sometime lost connectivity in basement areas which I could understand, Excellent GPS accuracy and nice & loud ring notification. Great value tracking watch to keep for your kids safity!

I would not recommend purchasing these watches at all. At first, everything seemed fine - set up, voice calls, video calls, voice messages were all operational. However, on the description it says that there are 4 modes of communication, including SMS/Texting. That was the primary reason for buying this watch. So, it would maintain privacy for my child who may not want to have friends eavesdropping on voice-related communication. I brought this issue up and was offered an exchange for a watch that does have texting capabilities, however, after paying $35 for shipping it back, I received the replacement and it was the exact same model. I brought this up and was asked to ship it back again, but I refuse to pay twice for shipping when none of this was my fault to begin with. Eventually, I opted for a return/refund after escalating the issue to Amazon. The communication takes days to address any one issue and it seems robotic and like no one is actually paying attention to the fact that there was misleading advertising which resulted in an actual problem for me, the customer. As for the watch itself, the interface is basic, but good enough for kids who aren't ready for a cellphone yet. The colours are a bit bland but that's the least of the problems. Anyway, glad Amazon took care of it for me and I can go on to look for a watch from another merchant that actually fits my needs.

My son has had it since Christmas and we've played around with it getting to know features. It works for what I intended. I can call him anytime, I choose what contacts he adds, he can msg me as well. Able to control the times at which I don't want him to be able to use it, unless it's for the SOS button. So when at school, piano class, etc he cannot utilize it as a distraction.Finding a plan in Canada for the watch was a bit of a challenge if you don't wanna pay too much. I used the bell or lucky mobile $15 plan. It's worked well.

This watch has been a great way to keep an eye on our child while they are out. We can contact them when we need them to come home, and he can contact us with just the push of a button if he needs to contact us. Some great features like setting alarms remotely, getting locations, and even has a feature to make it beep so you can find where you child will inevitably misplace it.One drawback is the GPS tracking which is less than spectacular. you do not get live tracking, which isn't a major problem because you can set intervals with every 10 minutes being the shortest. You can also request current location at any time. The main issue we found was it would sometimes show the location several kilometers away from the actual location, then it would correct a few minutes later.What we were most disappointed in was when we got our child to test the SOS function so they could get used to pushing it. It called the number and sent messages as it was supposed to, but it showed the location of my child as in China (we live in Canada).Having said this, we let the company know the issue and they said they are working on it.
