Purchased two sets of thees elephant feet for a metal double bed with 7 legs. The high was just enough for a person with back injuries to sit on the bed without dropping down. They seem to take the weight very well and the bed feels solid.Just a pity I had to purchase two set which made them expensive, but that's what you get for buy a cheap metal bed which has to have 3 legs underneath to hold it up. So think about the bed before you purchase these feet

These are brilliant I struggle to get up off low sofa's but this limits your choice with the elephant feet you can raise the seat height of any sofa.
