Viper Junior 48" 2-Piece Billiard/Pool Cue

Item came in a soft case that help protect it while shipping and doubles as a carrying case as well. It is best for 10 year olds and up. Weight is a good proportion as well.

I ordered this when by 8 year old son needed a cue. He likes the camo, I like the price. I've played with and I own several higher end cues, so I wasn't expecting much when I ordered this. I just knew I needed a cue that would aid him in getting better but wouldn't cost so much that I would cry when he broke it. This cue fit the bill perfectly. I've even played a few games with it and all things considered it plays really well. The shaft has more of a European taper to it. If your kid needs a cue or you need a short cue because your home table doesn't quite have the room around it that it needs then this would be an excellent choice. I can't make claims about every viper cue but this cue has stayed straight for more than a year now and it is often leaned against a wall for weeks at a time. For the price I really have nothing bad to say about this cue. That being said, based on this cue I probably wouldn't buy the full size version as my main player but I would buy it as an extra cue to throw in the trunk of the car.

Straight, good looking cue. Space is somewhat cramped on the sides of my table and I bought a 48" Viper for those side shots. I liked it so well that my two grandkids each have their own personal stick and I have two others for myself and other players. I now prefer using the 48" Viper for every shot except the break. So if you are following my story, I now have four of the 48" sticks, each with a different wrap or color. Though they all look different, the quality of wood and parts seem to be identical. -If you're looking for a 48" cue, I think you will be pleased with any of the Viper offerings. The camo model is my favorite.

Very sturdy and straight as an arrow. Comes with a nice tip. Graphics are good. Feels like a solid cue.

I was a bit disappointed when the Viper Realtree junior cue stick arrived. The item description stated that it had an adjustable weight setting from 19 to 21 ounces. This is simply not true. The actual weight is 16 oz and there was no other documentation or weights to add in the packaging. The "tree design" was also a bit crude. The manufacturer simply laminated over a piece of paper wrapped around the shaft. The seam is easily observed as it does not look continuous. I applaud Amazon as they offered to take it back, but were unable to provide information to contact the Viper manufacturer. I decided to keep the item. I gave it three stars as it plays OK. If you want a good quality junior cue, look at Pool Dawg. Their junior cues weigh 18 oz, the cue appearance is much better and they cost only $2 more.

Great value, and well built little pool stick for my game room.. if you have a pool table with restricted angles like me, this is the stick for you.

Awesome cue for my 11yr son. LOVE THE camo finish. The tip is "hard which is great for a beginner kid but I think I'm going to put a med/hard tip. Btw, the cue was perfectly STRAIGHT!

Excellent pool cue. We've been using the cheap and light pool cues that came with our 5 foot pool table and using this viper cue is like night and day. It has good weight so your shot will improve. I wish I got this earlier! high quality and very premium like feel. highly recommended!
