Fast delivery. Bought for a hotpoint ew42 oven seems to work OK. Looked at YouTube video of how to fit these and it looked so simple! As I had to go in through the door of the oven it was simple to release the element that was there (however it was awkward with a standard spanner. To put the new one in I used a small socked set.). If like me you have short arms you may need a friend with long arms to put the new element in! But it is straight forward and by doing it yourself you could save around £60. Also don't forget to turn ALL electric off just in case! Also some gripper clips may be useful to put on the wires you take off the element to stop them falling behind the back of the oven.

This is the second one that I've bought for this cooker, so I knew it's an easy installation. The last one was bought three years ago. Let's hope I get as long with this one. Under a tenner, its already a bargain as the alternative is a new oven.

Can't comment on quality. I bought in a rush and despite working for my brand of oven, in the "see more" it seems to have every model other than mine. Make sure you take the cover off your current one to make sure looks the same. Mine has double spades not the single here.

Component fitted perfectly, was easy to fit (after getting the cover plate screws which had been in position for over 15 years undone!) and worked entirely to specification.

Cooker element blew mid cooking evening meal. Replacement arrived in time to feed half starved family next day. Worked perfectly.
