This handsome bit of hardware has quickly become a favorite. The included chain was a bit more dainty than is my preference, so I replaced it with a simple split ring. I now wear the pendant on any chain I like.It my eyes, the rectangular stainless 'monolith' is suitably masculine. It looks good with other stainless steel hardware.I add ~25µl (1/2 drop) of an aromatic solution directly into the base each day. The dip-stick attached to the top proved difficult to use — it'd soak up lighter fractions from the solution while missing heavier ones. When the diffuser is worn (against skin, under shirt), movement and heat cause the aromatic molecules to steadily migrate, lightly clinging to my chest and shirt.All this gives a very nice effect — a long-lasting, gentle, generally stable aroma that wafts. It comes and goes. It doesn't become overwhelming. I doesn't make my eyes water or nose run. It doesn't off-gas a high-intensity force field. (I'm looking at you, Ralph Laurin.) Rather, it provides me a gentle aromatic environment and subtly invites people who like the fragrance to come closer.

It looks really good on however the chain broke in less than a month of me wearing it. I accidentally lightly tugged on it while I was wearing it and it broke off immediately. It did come with the scent things but it also did not produce a smell. I have a feeling these are made for another use…

I love the idea of this necklace more than the execution unfortunately. It IS pretty and it does release scent. While I appreciate that it isn't a cloud of scent that's overwhelming, I just didn't catch enough scent often enough for my preferences.The chain is delicate and a little short for me, it's functional but I did change it out to a little longer and sturdier chain.I would like to use a variety of scents, unfortunately mine came only with the one felt/absorber that was pre-installed. It looks like now the product may have been updated to include extras, if so, that's may help with some of the issues I encountered.Body heat and friction with the necklace moving did seem to help propagate the scent, but I didn't find it did so enough for me to notice it was there most of the time and even attempting to sniff at it closed, it just didn't really seem to carry the scent as much as I would have preferred.

I love this little thing; it's cute, holds just enough of a scent to last through a regular day, it doesn't really draw attention to itself... but it's also really small, and hard to manipulate with sausage fingers. Like mine. I've got pretty big hands, and small trinkets have a tendency to be difficult for me. This would make a fine gift, however.

As my title says, I really wanted to give this necklace a higher rating, but just couldn't. Not only didn't it seem to not give off much of the oil fragrance, but other issues also. I know that our noses get used to a scent, especially one that is on us. I would take this necklace off and hand it to people and they couldn't smell the fragrance until unscrewing the top. Then when I would explain that they should have been able to smell it before unscrewing, they would question me if I was mistaken about the purpose of this necklace. Then when it comes to trying to fill this necklace, wow! Trying to get the little drops from even an eyedropper into it without getting the essential oils everywhere was a huge challenge! I do like the idea and the look, but the rest just isn't worth it.* This was an Amazon Vine order.
