I can't believe how solid/heavy this mandrel is. Most importantly, it is accurate when I size existing rings. With a 10% coupon I got this for less than $20. If you're making a decision on purchasing potentially expensive rings, it is worth it. The markings are laser etched on. I just returned another one to Amazon that was half the price and totally worthless. It was just a lightweight mandrel where they literally place a sticker for the sizings, so depending where they placed the sticker makes it accurate or inaccurate. Pay a little extra for confidence in the sizing.

It is very good quality, but not for forming rings! It will marr and mark up your band. Although it is very nice, it can only be used for checking ring size.

I got this to get accurate measurements on estate rings before reselling. It works great, is accurate, the numbers are easy to read, and it is well made and heavy. I will get years of use out of this.

Bought the finger sizer and cone from same company thinking they would match up on size. There is a 1/4 difference between the two. The product is made very well but, what good is that if they don’t match up.

This item is a solid kind of heavy mandrel. But it's accurate which is the most important point.

This is a wonderful ring mandrel. Especially if you do wire wrapping with stones. It's well marked and easy to read and it is so smooth. No rough edges to scracth the wire. This will be the last one I ever need to buy.
