My child didn't like my newborn crying all the time so we bought these so she could sleep without hearing crying. She is noise sensitive and it would bother her. They work but she doesn't like anything in her ears which is the problem.

These are excellent for what they do! However, if you want complete noise cancellation, this product is not going to cut it. The only products that offer complete noise protection are very expensive - around $200.I’m not that picky. I just looked for the best quality at this price point. These are the best for fit, noise cancellation, and noise level. I use them in my 4 wheeler jeep to reduce the nobby tire noise on the asphalt. They work for concerts, chain saws, lawn mowers, and a vita mix blender too! Also, they work when I don’t want to hear the person sitting next to me on the plane.I have small ear canals, so I ordered the child size with the stings attached. (I’m always loosing small objects in my car because they fall into the cracks between the front seats.) at first I had some trouble getting them to block sounds. I had to watch a vid on how to put ear plugs in to learn how get them to work. That helped sooo much! Now they block all the sounds, are easy to put in, and I don’t even notice them when I’m wearing them.I have never tried them while swimming. I don’t know how they work with ear tubes.

These were meant for our toddler to sleep through the night and not hear the baby cry. They fall out of her ears and don't work for our purposes. She can still hear everything. We will try them for another week and if they don't work we will return them.

These worked well for what we needed it for. My child was having sensory issues with noise at school during lunch as well as on the bus. These worked well for my child to wear to help lessen the noise. My child said it made things quieter but did not fully block out sound which I liked as my child would need to hear slightly in case of an emergency or a teacher speaking to her. She was still able to communicate with people close. I enjoyed it having the cord so that the two ear pieces did not get lost while my child was wearing it.

Purchased them for my doctor. The handpieces are affecting her hearing she wears this and it blocks all noise.
