The fire poker is very weak feeling. The small middle piece used to make it longer wouldn’t even thread correct into the longer pieces. I must threw the small piece away and screwed the 2 longer pieces together. It works well enough. The wood tongs are awesome!! I have a solo stove and the tongs make putting in new pieces of wood super easy! If I had it to do over again, I would’ve bought the tongs separately and bought a cast-iron one piece fire poker.

I think this is better suited for a fireplace. An outdoor fire pit needs a poker to be longer and capable of prying a bit to move log’s around. I bought it because of the air tube but that makes it weak. Also, the air tube is a bit small to effectively blow on a pit fire. Again, probably good for indoor use.

The pocket was missing grooves in one part so there was no way to screw the blower to the rest of the stick/pocker.

Now we can stop pirating the one from the living room! Works great for camp fire / fire pit use.

This set is really nice to have to transport to campsites. The bag keeps everything together and away from items you don't want touching it. Not as sturdy as one would expect to use for everyday kind of thing, but will be great for camping.

These are fireplace/firepit essentials, and make dealing with the logs and hot coals much easier. In the past I have just used a shovel but that is very limited for managing a nice fire in a pit. The blow-poke is great for not just a poker but also to blow air into the coals and super heat them for better burning or to breath life into a smoldering fire after adding some new wood. The storage bag is nice to have to transport your 'fire-tools' from home to campout without dirtying up your vehicle with soot and dust.

They're metal tools! Not sure what kind of complaints I could have for the poker, it's just a poker haha. The clamps seem fine, only used a few times but hoping they hold up since summer time is when we have a lot of fires!

The fire pit set is well made, weighty, certainly long enough and the best part is the interesting blow hole in the poker. I’ve grown up around camp fires and backyard pits, and have never heard of this feature before. Not sure if this is better than just fanning the fire, as long as I don’t inhale trying to do this, we’ll enjoy tending the flames and not getting burned!
