Description of weights not too accurate
Flexibility to change weight is super convenient. Weights do not quite hit the rounded figures quoted (e.g. 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 kgs etc) but was fine for intended use.

.
Product us easy to use , but the weights are lighter than stated ..Do not go up to 3.8kg as stated ...only go up to 5lbs( 2.2kg ) which is lighter than the ones I already have

Good for workouts, don't take up lots of space in the house
I didn't want to clutter up my house with a dumbbell rack, but my barre and cardio workouts sometimes require weights. These are really nice, and they don't take up much space when I'm not using them. The mechanism for taking weight on and off is smooth and pleasant to use. The size is good, and they're easy to hold.

Great weights
Really nice comfortable weights. They are super easy to adjust the weight by twisting off the weights on the side. They are really well made and perfect for cardio step work etc.I can recommend these if you are after some.

Good but expensive
We tested these out doing aerobic exercises and they work well, with the adjustable weights to allow you to work up to excersing with them heavier etc.We can change the weight really easily and they are easy to clean. My only issue with them is I think that they are a bit to expensive.

Ideal for aerobics but locking mechanism can be stiff.
There are and ideal set of weights if you want a space saving set of weights for aerobics as they click together well and do not come loose while using, even with vigorous exercise.I like the click together mechanism, the locking mechanism is easy to understand but check for swarf and apply a small amount of something like Vaseline before using to ensure that they come apart easily. I didn’t and had trouble getting some of them apart on first use. They arrived quickly and have a softish plastic coating to protect weights. They were well packaged too, so they should not get damaged during transit. However, the locking mechanism can be stiff and take a while to change over weights, the weight is only stated in LB (I assume that this is lbs) no Kilograms stated at all. If like me, you work in the metric system you may find this a bit confusing. These are not precision weights, but sections seem to be slightly more than stated. Each section is not the 0.5 LB as stated but they were generally consistent in their own weighting; All mid sections were 233g and all ends were 242g, however they all state 0.5 LB which should be about 0.226 KG (0.230 KG if you rounded it up). I made up 6.5 LBS expecting it to be about 3 KG and it was just over so they are roughly true to their claimed weight; at least you are getting the weight you are paying for.If you are just getting into exercising with weights, I would say that these are good for aerobic exercise, or light weight where you don’t need to change the weight in a session, but they are not good for heavy weightlifting/building muscle mass or fast drop sets.I have given these 4.5 stars out of 5 as they are true to their weight, but the locking mechanism can seem to jam or become stiff and therefore they are hard to get apart which is very annoying during a workout or if you are intending to use a lower weight for a warm up or drop sets.

Great-looking, reasonably functional, but not cheap...
These arrived really nicely packaged, in line with the price (at the time of writing). They come with fairly clear instructions detailing how to adjust the weights. It's no slower than adjusting normal dumbbells where you'd have to take off a collar and add / remove weights, but it's a little fiddly (especially with sweaty hands!).Even at their heaviest, they aren't that heavy and are more suited to being held whilst performing other exercises, e.g. push-up / plank dumbbell rows, squats with a dumbbell press, etc. - their hexagonal shape makes them suited to the push-up combinations as they don't roll on the floor / exercise mat (or roll around when stored either). However, given the size of the 'collar' on the central section (the 2lb setting) I wouldn't trust it to hold my weight on its own - I've been using them 'full' at 5lb. The material feels soft-ish and rubbery, although it's a textured plastic, but is plenty grippy unless your palms get very sweaty. All in all a decent set of adjustable weights that obviates the need for several pairs - great-looking, but not cheap.
