The Eagle And The Hawk / Wings In The Dark (Region 2)

I found the Eagle and the Hawk (1933) of interest as I am currently researching the life (albeit very short) of an ancestor who was in the RFC at the time depicted. OK so it was grossly 'Hollywoodised, but there was enough seemingly true drama to interest me. I was quite absorbed despite the occasional lack of authenticity in the aircraft close-ups.Not so much the Wings in the Dark. I can imagine that the 1935 audiences may have rated it 5 stars. How could they not with such great stars and a very melodramatic story. Just not my 'cup of tea'!
