I bought these and another brand of eggs for an Easter Hunt. These came in second. Although they were sturdy and good value for the most part, there were a few, every now and then, that didn't close properly or popped open. They were slightly smaller than the other brand I bought. For someone who needs a lot of eggs, it's good value.

Good amount of eggs

Usually, when Easter rolls around, I get a couple of dozen eggs to bring to the family egg hunt. This year I wanted to do it big. I got two big ole bags of candy and stuffed every piece into these eggs, and I still had a ton to spare. I hardly made a dent in the box!The eggs themselves are exactly what you expect. Nothing special or bad about them. Just bog standard eggs. The kids will be delighted when they find them, though!

These eggs are about the size of a real large size egg that you buy at the grocery store. They are really brightly colored and the thing I like about them the most is that the fit is really good. The sides snap together with a nice locking fit.Because they are connected as pairs, you do get that nub of plastic on each side from where they were connected (like when you build a toy model) but you could easily cut off that part with an Exacto knife if you want a totally smooth surface.
