Westcott Mini Utility Ceramic Safety Blade Cutter - Green

This little craft knife is great, I didn’t realise it also has a magnet inside so can stick to your fridge which is handy. I use it to open my parcels as I regularly order from Amazon and the like and wanted something just for that. The ceramic blade means it’s sharp and does the job but with out being dangerous and will not easily cut skin but breaks through tape wonderfully, it’s a cute little knife and easy to use and extend and retract the blade as needed. Very reasonable cost for this too.

Brilliant little tool. Working in a shop, I open a lot of boxes, this is sharp when cutting tape but as its ceramic it is user friendly. The cutter has a hole which I threaded elastic through, attached to a belt loop keeps it close at hand. I couldnt do a day at work without and I have yet to replace the blade.

Very happy with it. I needed something to open the boxes with in warehouse and this is perfect. Handy to have in the pocket as its small and compact, easy to use and works very well.

Handy little gadget, great for opening all my Amazon deliveries! The blade is on a spring, you push a bottom forward to expose it and it springs back in once you let go. Blade is plastic, I don’t think it would cut skin. Works well on box tape and much better than using scissors. Wish I’d got one years ago.

After about 2 months use it fell apart! Superglue to the rescue!

So small. So compact. So sharp. Very easy to use. Love the fact that when you let go of the button, the blade retracts automatically. Perfect for getting into Amazon packages of all shapes and sizes. Very sharp blade, but you feel very safe using it. Seems like it is made from quality materials. Shame that green is the only colour option. Happy with my purchase

This knife is absolutely rubbish. It fell to pieces straight out of the packet before I had a chance to use it. The plastic is thin and feels incredibly cheap. The ceramic blade is useless compared to my old knife with a sharp steel blade which I’ve had for two years and is still going strong. On top of that, the locking switch is badly positioned on the side and gets caught every time you pick it up. Overall, a poorly designed, poor-quality knife that’s not fit for purpose. Avoid it.

I've worked in warehousing for many years. Steel bladed knives, box cutters etc simply just don't cut it (Forgive the pun) compared to a ceramic blade. I purchased one of these as I wanted something small I could attach to a retractable chord to my hip for ease of use, being so lightweight this was perfect. I will admit I was sceptical at first, but after 1 year (YES ONE WHOLE YEAR and then some) I've finally had to turn the blade around as it became worn - Normally I would have been through loads of steel blades with your metal alternative. I use it daily 5 days a week, cutting cardboard, opening boxes, cutting shrink wrap, plastic banding (Although banding is a challenge for it). The extra bonus is the short blade length - don't have to worry so much of cutting contents of box. Needless to say I purchased this is Feb 2018 - it's now nearly February 2021, the other side of the blade is finally wearing - so will be looking to replace the blade - This thing has paid for itself over the 3 years! Shame they don't do a left handed version (That i'm aware of). I will be looking at replacing my teams cutters with these (Or similar for the left handed ones). Great value, faultless, Bargain! Parfait pour déballer les cartons sans les abimer afin de pouvoir les ré-utiliser. Attention, la lame en céramique coupe très fort.

Dom är riktigt bra om man bara behöver nåt litet för att öppna paket och kartonger och tycker att en mattkniv är för mycket.

Dieses kleine Teil habe ich mir vor Jahren für die Arbeit gekauft. Wir hatten viele Pakete zu öffnen und durften Arbeitssicherheitsgründen nur Messer mit selbst zurückziehenden klingen benutzen. Es ist komplett aus Plastik und es reicht vollkommen um ein Paketband und einen Klebestreifen zu öffnen. Es ist super leicht und trägt nicht auf in der Hosentasche. Aus diesen Gründen hängt es auch heute noch an meinem Arbeitsschlüsselbund.
