High quality replicas - I recommend 100%
I used this memorabilia pack to create a shop window display for 100th anniversary of Armistice. The quality of the replicas was very impressive (not at all cheap or tacky like some that are out there) and many people who looked at the display actually believed them to be originals.Great for anyone with an interest in WW1, projects, displays or similar.I recommend these 100%.

Very impressed with the pack
Fantastic set , very interesting to flick through, i got them to display with my great war medal collection, the only thing I didn't like was the word COPY printed on the bottom of most of the items, but I suppose it's to stop confusion with originals, other than that I am very pleased with the pack

Primary Source Material for W W 1
This World War 1 - Memorabilia Pack is an idealteaching aid for both school age children andfor adults seeking to learn more about WW1.As with all of these packs, they come as a smalland informative collection of ephemera, hererepresenting the 1914-1918 war.The smallest items are a collection of cigarettesize cards in the form of recruiting posters andphotographs of weapons of war of the period, thecards originally issued by Wills tobacco products,in an era when nearly every man smoked. The Temperance Movement encouraged men to "Sign thePledge" a patriotic duty to stay alcohol free forthe war, and we have a copy of the Patriotic Pledgesigned by serviceman, David Thomas.Propaganda cards, an Identity Card, and several formsand information leaflets aimed at the home front areincluded, giving a mental picture of what life was likewith food rationing and the threat of invasion.A small 30 page booklet titled "When I Join The Ranks"and issued to all men on joining up, is included andthis gives an overview of do's and don'ts, pay rates, and discipline, with no hint or suggestion of thehorrors to come.Probably the most significant piece of ephemera hereis a copy of the Confidential Medical Report intothe illness of 2/Lieutenant Wilfred Owen, who was sentto the Welsh Hospital at Netley and later to the WarHospital in Edinburgh. Owen is now considered one ofthe important writers and war poets of his day.A copy of The Star newspaper from November 11, 1918announcing the Armistice rounds off this most interestingpack. Ideal primary source material for the period, which if used in conjunction with films of the dayshould provide at least an idea of what the Great Warwas like for both those at home and the men and womenwho were sacrificed in it's wake.Another good productin the Memorabilia range.Worth the money.

Such a great educational pack!
My little boy loved this pack, he was more excited about opening this at Christmas than he was his main present! As you can guess he has a very big interest in war memorabilia.

Window into a sad time
Interesting to see how media was used to raise people's patriotic fervor against evil. As it is still done today by all government's.

Fantastic display resource
I bought this pack for display to go alongside information and research about the people commemorated on our local War Memorial - it's just what I need to finish it off the display. Good quality, not too big so won't take up too much room on the board but will add enrich the display ten fold
