Great valuable content. Great tips: I need another highlighter😂😎. Is that tipe of book you need to read 1, 2 or 3 chapter at once. No more cause the content needs to be digested

It is an interesting and fast paced reading. Tries to cover every aspect of running a hotel. So it is not detailed and it is not for the experienced professional. Some tips are also outdated. It is great though for the newcomers to get an idea about how things work.

Awesome book, must read for any hotelier professional. Despite my many years in this industry, it still make new points even for me. Recommended.

Revealing and well written

Great read about a mans life through the hospitality industry. Starting as a desk clerk, all the way through to being owner and operator of huge resorts. Very easy to read, even the beginning where he is explaining how to plan and build a resort (something i can never imagine myself doing). But alot of his message boils down to 'work hard, common sense, and try to enjoy'

Simplified to be do clear

I would reccommend this book for any one in a management position within a hotel, expecially those (such as myself) in a deputy position looking to step up to a General manager position. The book covers several areas such as new openings, motivating the operation team, marketing and many more. Simply an excellent book which i could not put down and cant wait to put into action in my hotel.

Well written, descriptive with many details, especially interesting for those in the hospitality industry.

Having been in the business since the age of 14 I have a great appreciation for the hospitality industry. In the past 10 years I have worked every job in the house and still strive to know all that this business has to offer. This book is a great extension of the knowledge I already have and a go-to guide for subjects I have yet to conquer. It's a very simple read and an almost never-ending source of information. I recommend this book to anybody that has hopes of making it in this business as I hope to do someday as well... I also recommend this to anybody that has made it. Keep it at your desk as a reference guide and I promise it will help you as it regularly helps me.
