Cutest Toddler Train Book
This is an amazingly engaging book for your train loving toddler. It is so cutely written and my son loves picking what train he wants as a pet. Cleverly written, beautiful pictures and so colorful!

Great read
My child loves this book. We borrowed it from the library and he wouldn't put it down. He was thrilled when we got it. He was three at the time and still loves it. I enjoy reading it to him as well.

Train book
I bought this for my two 4 year old grandsons. It has great graphics and a cute story. The only disappointment I had was in learning that the "training process" includes having a child (trainer) stand on the tracks in front of a train. I realize this is fiction and pretend but in my opinion this was not a bright thing to include in all the training possibilities.

CAPTAIN FOOFAMALOO?
Haha! The young man we purchased this book for absolutely loves the page when we get to Captain Foofamaloo!! He squeals his name and giggles every time! The idea behind the story truly activated his imagination and after having had this book out on loan from the local library we finally decided to go ahead and purchase a copy for him and right now it's his favorite book. From an adult perspective there are many things I appreciate from the colorful graphics to the creative storyline that a Train could be captured and trained. This book will captivate your child's imagination so completely that it might surprise you as much as we have been surprised.

Love this book!
This is my 2 yr old son's second favorite book. It's very cute and I think the illustrator is great! I really think the issue that people are having with the girl standing in front of the train is very minor. Im not worried about my son getting that idea in his head because i actually watch my kids. Even if he had that in his head that it was a good idea to stand in front of a train, there is no way in hell i would ever allow him to be alone long enough to accomplish that. don't blame the book if your an unattentive parent.

A very fun book for little train enthusiasts!
My four-year-old loves this book and chooses to read it every night. It's cute and teaches kids how to catch a pet train and take care of it. He loves the part about choosing a name and laughs at some of the silly name ideas. Would definitely recommend!

Instant favorite
This book was one of my 4-year-old son's Chanukah gifts. I did not think it would get much attention, as it was competing with some pretty fun toys. Boy, was I wrong (happily so). My husband and I have had to read it at least once a day, usually several times a day, EVERY DAY since he opened it. He has now learned it by heart and still wants to read it. It is incredibly humorous and whimsical, with clever illustrations. My husband and I enjoy it too.

If your child has imaginary friends that are trains this is a book for you. The illustrations are fantastic too. Sludge and go for the hardcover and you will see all the details! Lovely edition. Nice heavy paper stock and we'll bound. Candlewick never disappoints.

My 3-year-old train lover adored this book
The illustrations are very nice and my son loves the story. He keeps asking me to re-read this story even though he has a lot of other train stories.

Excellent for 3 year old
Bought for my grandson. He demands it be read to him every single night, at least once. Very wise choice.
