Prior to purchasing this product, my skin wasn’t in horrible condition. I had bad acne in high school, but it was maintainable after. My skin wasn’t bad, but I felt it could be better.I was talking with a friend from Korea one day, and asked him about using toner. I know it’s good to help your skin absorb your moisturizer, but knew he had a full routine so decided to ask his opinion. I listed a bunch of brands for him, and he told me everything I listed was trash. He suggested this brand, and told me it’s “SOOO good” but is a bit pricey.I did a bit more research into top brands in South Korea (since Korean skincare is definitely the way to go), and this was listed as one of this top five brands. I immediately felt I needed to just go for it, since it’s such a popular brand, and my friend stated he loved it.When I received the product, I remember reading a review stating it had a light floral scent. Upon opening and smelling the product, I had no sense of floral notes coming from this. I was definitely worried, since I did not want to smell like old lady, and I wouldn’t want to put a product with a strong scent on my face.This product smells light and CLEAN!!! It smells like purified water off an untouched mountain lake with no fish (although fish would orgasm breathing in this water) surrounded by trees of green, red roses, too! You’d see them bloom for me and you. Then, think to yourself...what a wonderful world.I started seeing results after one week of adding this to my skincare routine (which was pretty simple when I first purchased this - it’s pretty complexed now). My face started to feel healthier and definitely more hydrated. Friends started telling me my complexion had also gotten much better and could notice my skin glowing (not oily glowing, but rub an apple so clean the skin is shining glowing).I seriously love this product, and I don’t ever want to take this toner out of my skincare routine!

Skin reacted badly to this product. After a few uses, skin became inflamed and raw. Do not recommend the use of this product on anyone who has sensitive or thin skin. Smell also doesn't do it any favors; it's off-putting.

Excellent product! Watch a you tube video for sulwhasoo product application. It smells delicious too, and leaves my face soft and smooth when you follow it with the moisturizing lotion.

it says water but its consistency is of an essence type. feels refreshing when applied. its adds moisture and has plumping effect. smooths my skin texture too. i feel like you can use this as a mask if you soak a cotton pad.
