Why is there no sound after plugging in?

Make sure the plug is pushed in fully until you feel a click. A partial connection won't transmit audio. Push firmly until it stops. If using a thick phone case, you may need to remove it so the plug fully seats in the headphone socket.

My iPhone asks what device I connected. What should I choose?

Select “Other Device”, not “Headphones”. If the audio still behaves incorrectly, restart the phone once so it reinitialises the connection.

Does this work with Lightning and USB-C phones?

Yes! For Android and USB-C iPhones (15+), choose this USB-C Edition (this one). For older iPhones (7–14), choose the Lightning Edition. Devices with a standard 3.5 mm headphone socket (audio jack) are always supported.
