Excellent product and excellent customer support
I have been using the adjustable 50 pound core fitness dumbbells for about 8 years now and never had issue with them, other than they are limited in weight to only 50 pounds. I got the 80 pound adjustable nuobells as an upgrade, and boy are they awesome. When I first opened the box one of the dumbbell cradles had a cracked plastic part that made it more difficult to rerack the weight. However, after emailing customer support, they sent out a replacement cradle to me that same day and at no charge, and it arrived after about a week. I won't dock a star for the item being slightly damaged out of the box because sometimes it happens. Now onto the dumbbells... Pros- The cast iron plates just look and feel awesome. No issues with the plates feeling insecure and the plates themselves are very durable. I love the handles! The steel grip with the knurling feels like an actual gym dumbbell. The 80 pound max weight is such a game changer for me. While 80 isn't quite enough for some exercises (chest press, db rows, shrugs), it is still enough to get in the work I need. Huge space saver and much more economical than getting 16 different pairs of dumbbells. Cons- Some connector parts of the dumbbell are plastic and only time will tell how they hold up. You can't just drop these. Although it seems fairly durable, you will most certainly break the plastic connectors if you are carelessly throwing them around. Not that I would drop them anyways, but you just have to treat them with respect. If you want dumbbells you can abuse and drop, then you need solid cast iron or rubber coated ones. This product is an absolute must have for any home gym. The price point is very high, but this is absolutely worth it. Edit: I have been using these for over a year now and they have held up flawlessly. I frequently use the full 80 pound weight and the plastic connector pieces are showing no signs of wear. Just treat them with respect and as long as you arent dropping them or aggressively reracking them, they will hold up fine. These are the best investment I have ever made in my home gym, they are worth the price!

Spectacular weights. Been using them for 3 years now the 80lbs set. Very easy to use. Not for slamming around but still durable. Buy the stand.

14 month review
After 14 months of almost daily use I can honestly say I have nothing bad to say about this product. The price was steep coming in at just over $800 shipping (NOV 22) included to Hawaii but just the shear convenience of having 160lbs of dumbbells in my dinning room that takes up no more than a 3โx3โ space is worth the cost. I was worried about the plastic parts that everyone was talking about that might break off and leave your dumbbells inoperable and upon first inspection of the dumbbells I was too but after continuous use I found it was nothing to worry about (also Nuobell sells parts if your break). If your a weight slammer and like to throw your weights back in the rack then you have a lot to worry about but if you take care of your equipment then this problem will go unnoticed. I recommend getting a rack like the one in the picture. This makes it easier to maneuver the dumbbells in and out of the holster. This rack seemed to me at first to be unstable because of just the one bar coming up from the base and it is a little wobbly but again after 14 months of use I have to issues with it. The weight change is still almost effortless and glides through the 5-80lb seamlessly with zero maintenance. There is a little slop in the weights a little rattle when using the dumbbells under 25lb but goes away when you use heavier weight. The only problem Iโve come across now that I think about it was the kind of sharp edge digging into my forearm when doing over head Tricep extension. I just adjust my form and problem diverted. Not much else to say about these. They are sturdy, convenient and most of all reliable. My only major gripe is that I out grew these dumbbells hella fast because of the convenience of having them in literally arms reach rather than having to motivate myself to drive to the gym but Iโd say thatโs a good thing lol. Have recommended them to many and I recommend them to you as well.

Seems to be poorly made
Didn't even last 6 months before breaking. They started having some problems only after like a month then all of a sudden they it broke

The best adjustable dumbells I've used
First I would like to thank Finer Form, the company selling these through Amazon, for exemplary customer service. Through no fault of their own the dumbbell handles broke and they immediately replaced them, no questions asked. Five stars for them. The Nuobell dumbbells are also incredible. A quick turn of the wrist and you can adjust the weight. And love that they go from 5-80 lbs. The only knock on these dumbbells is that for the price, the plastic parts should be eliminated. They easily break and then turning the handle to get different weights becomes nearly impossible and cannot be fixed as a small plastic piece appears to break. For $800 it seems like they should be more durable. In both instances when the plastic parts broke it was during a bench press set and then dropping them to the floor from about 2 feet up. So if you do purchase these realize that you cannot drop them from any height.
