Bunk Beds Twin over Full Mission Style with End Ladder, White

I gave this bunk bed five stars, because I couldn't give it 4.5 stars, which is how I would rate it. While it has strengths, there is room for improvement.PROS* Solid wood / no particle board / stable and sturdy* The finish is nice / smooth -- unlike one reviewer's observation where their bed had a knot in a piece of the wood, mine had no knots, which I would knot have liked :)* All the screws and screw holes and dowels lined up well in the entire installation / I did not have to drill any new holes myself* The directions are relatively easy to follow / are correct* The color is a fairly true "white" (not a dingy or yellowish white)* The bed is relatively attractive, aside from a few things I mention belowCONS* Two pieces of the set arrived with minor blemishes where the wood expanded and slight cracks appeared in the painted finish (I am being picky)* Once assembled, my set (twin over full) showed a few extra screw holes that are not needed that are unattractive -- they are just holes in the finish* The screws and the brackets that hold the ladder to the bed have a brassy tinge to them, whereas I would have preferred plain silver screws, and would have preferred stainless screws even more* The manufacturer needs to include touch-up paint for any blemishes the set might arrive with, as well as those occurring afterward; I chose to fill the extra screw holes, and will paint over them, but now I have to find a paint that matches the white and which is similar in the satin-type finish

SO sturdy and relatively easy to build. My husband and I put it together in a few hours. Other reviewers said the smell is strong, which I agree. It smells strongly of sawed wood/furniture store. It's been about two weeks now and it has died down quite a bit though.My boys love it and couldn't wait to get on the top bunk and put drawings around up there. Picture doesn't show our mattress on the bottom yet, but our full we had fits perfectly on it, no extra space at all.Color looks fabulous in a Star Wars themed room

The Beds King Twin over Full bunk bed arrived as scheduled in three packages for easier transportation to the bedroom.I opted for the additions professional bed assembly. I am glad I did. The assrmby time was about two hours with 1 person. He was good! This is just what I wanted. It is a beautiful, STURDY, wooden bed. The twin over full allows you to sit on the lower bunk without hitting your head. I have a very thick twin mattress in the top bunk and it does not exceed the siderail. Overall, I highly recommend the bed, the shipper, and the person who professionally assembled my bed. It was worth the money.Thank you very much.Sincerely,OGrant

My husband was very skeptical about buying on line and we made sure that we could return if we did not like it. This is not going back! My husband ( who is very handy) was able to assemble it on his own, he just needed me and my daughter to lift the bunk on top. We were so impressed with the sturdiness! Many reviews mention a smell, it is there but I find the smell of cut wood pleasant and it is fading quickly. My neighbor was so impressed she is buying one for her home.

For the price I think this is a good bed. It does move a little when climbing to the the top bunk. The wood quality is good for the price. If you want an extremely sturdy bed you will have to pay more. I have 3 boys and I think it will hold up fine. It looks really nice.
