Quad Driver Headphones,ERJIGO KZ ZS6 High Fidelity Extra Bass Earbuds Without Microphone,with Detachable Cable (Red)

I was surprised to see these 4 driver IEM's for less than $50, and was very skeptical of their sound quality, build and comfort. For the last 10 years I have been based in Nashville TN, I have been a professional musician for about 26 years, and have been playing in bands for almost 40 years.Most of my gigs have been with standard open air floor monitors and the like. In the past when I've been required to use IEM's at a gig, I have used a nice pair of ear buds that fit well. It worked well enough to get through the gig, but I didn't like the experience.Recently I was hired to do a 4 night a week residency at a club that uses IEM's, so i thought I'd get some Shure 215's. I saw a deal on an Audio Technica single driver set ($99) that got better reviews than the 215's. So I jumped on them and liked them better than the old earbuds. I immediately noticed that with a good mix it was much easier to sing on pitch, easier to NOT over sing, as well as hear the nuances of the band (for better or for worse).However I was getting a lot of clipping on the low end, and they would fall out pretty easily, which is very annoying when your playing an instrument and trying to sing lead. The right set of memory foam ear tips could have solved my fall out and comfort issues but the clipping was jarring to my groove. Better, but unacceptable... BTW, I found out that because you stick these things into an orifice, you can not return them.I asked around and another player on the gig said that I needed to get a 4 driver set of IEM's. So I went home and looked up 4 driver IEM's. WOW $299 a set... and that was the inexpensive model. I got ready to allocate some serious coin to this purchase. I stayed up all night reading reviews...The next day I asked my friend how much he paid and what kind his were...? He said the Quad Driver KZ ZS6. "They're Chinese". He said he paid $60 delivered to his door. He's owned his for some time and loves them, only he recommended getting the upgraded cable. So I did and got some memory foam ear tips as well.These things are great! I can now hear all of the different frequencies at once with very little clipping (at this point, the clipping might be the sound guys fault). I play upright bass, electric bass, sing lead, and play acoustic guitar on my gigs and these Quad Driver KZ ZS6's make it really easy to hear what's going on.The ONE THING is that they're a little bulky and take a few minutes to get a good fit. I would have given them 5 stars except for the large design looks and feels slightly awkward.I've only had them 1 week so far so I can't comment on durability, but for $50 for a decent quad driver IEM... I would absolute buy them again if they got lost or crushed. I hope this helps.

Mine came in the cheap standard small white box with no extra foam tips or an extra case like other buyers. Item was sold by Sky Sound. So if you expect your package like how other buyers received theirs, just beware. Other than that, the product itself is great. The quality is amazing for the price compared to big name brands. I’ve been around and used many earphones from Klipsch, AKG, Sony and other KZ models to headphones such as the Fostex, Audio Technica, AKG, Sennheiser, along with high end speakers like Monitor Audio, Klipsch, Infinity, and PSB, so I kind of know what to look for in sound quality. But with a budget in mind, I decided to give the KZ brand a try after seeing many reviews about them. Compared to the common KZ earphones line up like the KZ ATE, ZST, and ZS5, the ZS6 are the most detailed sounding out of all of them. Though they are mostly emphasized on the highs and may have some sibilance on some songs which may be a little discomforting and fatiguing to listen to for long periods of time, the overall sound quality and built quality is amazing for the price. I would say these beat the hell out of pretty much all the earphones I have tried in my life time, they are that good. Compared to the ZS5, the sound stage on the zs6 is much wider due to the vents on the outer part of the earphones. The mids and bass response is great but not as deep and fun as the ZST when combined with the silver plated cable upgrade. I tested these ZS6 with the stock and silver plated cables and I must say that you should consider upgrading the cables to the silver ones because they really smooth out the harshness of the highs and really improve the sound quality. I'm also using foam tips I ordered separately. Bass and mid was improved as well as bringing the vocals more forward. In addition, I tested all my headphones and earphone with my Schiit Audio Modi and Magni 2 stack DAC and headphone amp combo while listening to flac files. On my laptop, i used the Fiio K1 DAC/AMP. On this particular test, I used the silver cable upgrade from the ZS5 which is compatible with the ZS6. Also, using a Hermit Shell case to house it and carry it around. If you are looking for a smooth and fun sounding monitors for a good price, go with the KZ ZST. But if you like detailed, wide sound stage and imaging of instruments, then buy these.Update: After receiving it today and using it all day, the cable plug inside the housing of the monitors on the right side became loose and starts to make clicking noise when i move. Returning these and ordering another pair. Hopefully the next one is not defected.

I use it to listen to music especially music with heavy bass. I couldn't ask for a better pair of headphones.

Adoro la loro lavorazione in metallo.Si sente la presenza delle 2 BA, oltre ai 2 driver dinamici.La resa sonora e’ piuttosto precisa, hanno ottimi bassi (anche se non così ‘punchy’ come nelle ZEX), e medi e alti cristallini.Per avere la giusta resa e’ necessario inserirle bene nel canale.La definirei adatte a vari generi musicali.Il venditore e’ stato così gentile da includere nella spedizione 2 eartips (a memoria di forma) aggiuntive, oltre a quelle incluse nella confezione.Ottime sia le cuffie che il venditore.

Harto de tirar auriculares que dejaban de sonar porque el cable de conexión en la zona de unión con el minijack se estropeaba. No he encontrado un material similar a lámina reforzada termoadhesiva para proteger esa zona.Estructura es algo más grande de lo habitual (21mm en sus lados mas alejados. 13mm su parte más ancha) y un poco más pesada. Diámetro de la salida del sonido 5mm. Longitud del cable desmontable 130cm.Auricular híbrido marca los agudos pero también los graves*, rango amplio (*Importante: Esto se cumple con unas buenas almohadillas)Las almohadillas de 3 tamaños de color negro son muy finas y maneables. A mi parecer no cumplen bien su función. Añadido trae un par, tamaño mediano? de espuma roja con núcleo reforzado por silicona y estas si cumplen su función con el sonido, en mi caso no de comodidad porque necesito tamaño pequeño. Cableado reforzado en la zona de alrededor de la oreja para moldearlo.Solo puedo hablar de vista de los materiales por su aspecto exterior y parecen buenas. En alguna review dicen que sus componentes internos y externos son de calidad.Mi opinión, unas buenas almohadillas del tamaño adecuado son la clave para tener el buen sonido que emite estos auriculares ytambién comodidad para un ajuste perfecto al oído y usarlo durante horas.Opciones: Comprar otro juego de almohadillas de buena calidad y tamaño correcto y también un segundo cable de repuesto.

EDIT (March 21st, 2019): These are rather bad an have a channel imbalance. Not sure if anything went wrong down the road, but unfortunately they look absolutely messed up. Measurement done on 1/24 octave smoothing, Boya BY-M1 with 8mm ID PVC tubing, and KZ small starline tips. Do not get these. They're piercing and are entirely tonally incorrect.So far, these work pretty good. They're comfy earphones, however, I deducted one star due to the terrible cable they come with, and the insane sibilance in the upper treble. I have a spare silver cable, so it's not much of a problem for me. Anyways, the sound of these is interesting. They have some deep bass, decent punch on the bass, and vocals are nice and smooth. Sound is incredibly detailed, and surpasses anything I've used before. However, they require a mod to get rid of the sibilance between 9KHz and 10KHz.You have to EQ the 10KHz spike out of the way, or put acoustic foam into the nozzles of the balanced armature drivers. I personally modded mine with acoustic foam, and I'm using double-flange eartips on them. Sibilance is gone. I still have a good amount of bass, but I personally wouldn't recommend these if you're treble sensitive. If you are, get something like RevoNext QT2 or KZ ZSR. Both of those are incredible earphones. I'd recommend them over these, but for me the KZ ZS6's work great. I know for most, the included KZ "star" eartips will work just fine. Just make sure if you plan on changing the ear tips, you get something with grippy silicone, as there is no notch at the end of the nozzle to hold eartips on. This is a problem with some eartips.
