CATMen's Premier 8 Safety Boots

These are a solid made of work boots. On my second pair of these now. I got a year out of the last pair and really they only failed as I didn’t look after the leather. They are comfortable straight out the box with 1-2 12 hour shifts these are broken in and shaped to your foot.These run big and I have sized down in these one full size from previous boots. The toe box is quite wide. Only things I can say in a slightly negative light is the stitching wears out near the ball of your ankle next to the zip eventually and they are a heavy boot when you initially put them on, after a few days in them you really don’t notice. Used 6days a week 12hours a day in heavy use.

Great quality pair of boots. Best I've had but also the most expensive. Very heavy in comparison to most safety boots but I would imagine more durable also.I noticed most negative comments surround the zip so time will tell how that lasts but personally I have a fairly narrow but long foot so getting in and out of the boots is pretty easy despite them going well above the ankle and I hardly use the zip.

These boots are honestly the best pair I have ever owned, I needed to change from an old magnum pair but these are miles ahead in terms of everything!You won’t regret getting them!

They take some wearing in around the ankles due to the reinforcement but other than that they're very comfortable from pretty much the first wearing.UpdateStill a comfortable pair of boots but the sole split down the middle on the left boot and the right one is following suit, there appears to be metal plate in the sole which has also split in half, I've glued the sole back together using an industrial adhesive but I don't think the fix is going to last. The only real failure of those boots that I have experienced is that the soles are fragile, that said the anti slip element of the soles is excellent and that I can certainly praise. These boots can and should be a 5 star product, if Cat fix the issues with the soles they'll be phenomenal.Update 2Adhesive did not hold, I have tried multiple adhesives none stick. I contacted Caterpillar, they offered me a replacement product of my choosing (up to the value I spent on these) as they no longer make these, I picked the boots I want (which to be honest I'm not that thrilled with but they do) and they sent the wrong ones, I'm now in dispute with Caterpillar to get what I asked for. Bottom line adviod these boots and Caterpillar like the plague.

These were bought to replace an old version Caterpillar work boot which lasted for years,The new boots are really well made & very sturdy...and very comfortable with a cushioned insole. Thinsulate 200g lining gives plenty of warmth, but yet to test their waterproofness.They are quite a wide fit but worn with a thicker sock my foot doesn't move around.

First off, I've been wearing Terra work boots for 20 years and I've tried a lot of others that I've never liked, and this is my first time with CAT boots. I'm usually UK size 9.5. Ordered UK 10's as they don't have 9.5. Really wide, and loose. I have to wear 2 thick pairs of socks to fit nicely. The arch support is a bit to high for my comfort so far and that hurts after 10-12 hours. I'm just starting to get used to it. They are also pretty heavy. It could use a pull loop at the back. That's about it for the negatives.On the positive side, They are extremely well built. They are completely waterproof (did 7 hours of driveway pressure washing, I was soaking wet using "waterproof" jacket and pants, except for my feet...), The grip is outstanding, went in very muddy/slippery slope paths about the farm, did not lose a step. Nice and well insulated, not sure when summer temperatures arrive if they'll be too hot though. Wasn't too sure about work boots with zippers as I've never bought any with those before, but I like it. So all in all, very good boots for the price. I have a pair of Terra coming from Canada with my mother end of may, so these CATs might be the winter boots if they get too warm during the summer months.

This is my second pair of these cat boots. The last pair lasted 2 hard years. 10 hours a day 5 days a week. They fit like a glove and are as comfy as a pair of boots can get. Only downside is the nubuck stays damp… I got around this by buying boot waterproofer spray in screwdix…highly recommended. And my only other grumble is the zips would play up on my last pair but I put this down to my own fault as I spend most of the day with the zips undone and stretched the boot. But overall the best boots I’ve ever owned. Will only buy these from now on, they may be pricey but as the saying goes “you only get what you pay for”

The extra room in the depth for the bridge is so comfortable for my toes, I have diabetes and these boots are so much more roomy and now my feet especially my toes are pain-free.

I absolutely adore these work boots, they fit fantastic and feel great to walk around in. I can keep them on all day and evening with no problem, they are comfy as hell. They are also my best looking boots, great for work and simply for wearing. They support my ankles extremely well and are available in a slightly wider version which has been perfect for my feet, not many brands offer sizes like this.

Una scarpa robusta ed estremamente compatta.All'inizio è molto rigida e per chi non è abituato può risultare pesante.Dopo un paio di settimane di utilizzo si ammorbidisce molto e diventa praticamente una pantofola.Attrezzata di una suoletta morbida la rende molto confortevole anche per chi sta molte ore inpiedi.Per chi fa lavori tipo "autista", inizialmente può sembrare scomoda.. sta tutto a farci l'abitudine.La zip laterale è la cosa più comoda che una scarpa del genere possa avere.Impermeabile e fa anche la sua porca figura...

Diese Stiefel sind bei weitem meine liebsten!1. Sie sehen meiner Meinung nach Cool aus2. Sie bieten Viel Stabilität und das obwohl sie mega bequem sind. Der Fuß fühlt sich zu jederzeit fest im Schuh sitzend und das selbst wenn die schuhe noch nicht mal zu sind.3. Die sohle sieht im Grunde aus wie ein Winterreifen und nicht wie eine Schuhsohle. Ich würde vermuten das hier auch einige Entwicklung eingeflossen ist und das merkt man auch. Man hat beinah das Gefühl das sie sich am Boden fest saugen bis man den Fuß wieder anhebt.4. Schweißfüße sind natürlich abhängig vom Umfällt und von einem selbst aber ich habe obwohl ich sie nicht wirklich für ihren eigentlichen Einsatzzweck benutze (ich arbeite meistens im Büro) keine wirklichen Probleme damit.5. Das wohl angenehmste an diesen Stiefeln abgesehen vom mega guten Laufverhalten ist aber wohl das einfache an und ausziehen. Ich ziehe die Schnürsenkel durch die vier Schlaufen oben und einmal stramm ziehen Schleife drum fertig. Schneller habe ich noch keine Stiefel anbekommen dabei hilft auch das der Schafft recht Stabil ist das heißt das man seinen Fuß da einfach rein drücken kann und der da schön rein rutscht anstatt den Schuh platt zu treten.Mankos:Sie sind eben schwerer als normale Stiefel sind mich stört es nicht aber man sollte es bedenken.Außerdem muss man schauen ob man damit Autofahren kann da sie eben recht groß sind da muss man schauen ob das alles im Flussraum des Autos noch mit den Pedalen passt :DProbleme:Ich hatte ein kleineres Problem mit den Stiefeln was die Sohle angeht diese war bei einem meiner Paare nicht so hochwertig gepresst wie bei dem anderen das fand ich etwas komisch aber vermutlich war das nur ein Einzelfall und es hat die Funktion auch nicht eingeschränkt zumindest habe ich keinen Unterschied gespürt. Dennoch finde ich das bei dem Preis auch die Sohle gleich gut sein sollte daher erwähne ich es aber sie wurden von Amazon natürlich problemlos ausgetauscht also sollte es einen stören kann man da recht einfach etwas gegen unternehmen.Insgesamt also wirklich tolle Stiefel und ich muss sagen das ich sie jedem normalen Stiefelpaar vorziehe alleine wegen dem anziehen.
