BoschProfessional Brad Point Drill Bit (for wood, Ø 3 mm, accessories rotary drills)

91p for a named brand drill bit, what’s not to like! Excellent quality bit, nice and sharp very study (unlike the cheap ones that snap after one cut) I’ve don’t close to a 100 holes with this drill bit and had no flex, no bending, and still as sharp as when I got it. Also very clean cuts.

The media could not be loaded.  This is the 12mm drill bit from Bosch, which, for a little over 5 and a half quid, will buy you a tool that’s not only sharp but, as the attached video shows, cuts straight and true in my drill press, leaving a nice clean, crisp hole with a smooth finish. The bit has a shank which is milled to a little under 8mm, 7.87mm to be exact. Handy if you intend to use this in a smaller hand held drill.I only needed this particular diameter bit for a couple of jobs where I needed to sink some 12mm tubing into a block of beech hardwood and thankful to say, this drill bit did the needful without breaking sweat.Although I’m more than happy with the performance of the Bosch 12mm drill bit, I’m a little less impressed with the fact that there’s no carry pouch. However, that being said, this is still a 5 star product and my hopes for its longevity are still quite high, even after my small hardwood project.

I needed a larger drill bit to allow a data cable to pass through a wooden joist and this did the job perfectly.It arrived quickly and was lovely and sharp.The price is excellent for a Bosch drill bit, what's not to like?I hope you find my review helpful.

On first look the drill box looked sturdy and well made and the drills are visible through tje clesr case and handling it I expected the box to open in the normal way but I was wrong.It took me a while to figure out what the plastic tab on the reverse and the engraved diagram meant. I finally figured out this tab had to be broken off and that allowed the box to swivel open. I havened used the drills yet but they looked good and I like the drills with spikes at the tip.
