Holy smokes! This is the best straighter/curling iron I’ve ever used.It literally got delivered at the same time that I was already doing my hair. I grabbed it from the front porch and immediately opened it and plugged it in. There was no smell upon heating up. It didn’t take long at all for it to heat up even only to the halfway point. My hair was completely dry with only hair oil added when I started curling. It was SO smooth. There was no tugging or pulling. My hair didn’t catch or get stuck at all. Even though I used hair oil, there was no residue left on the iron. It was the quickest and easiest hair tool that I’ve ever used. I’m always used to curling my hair with a straightener and so I knew it wouldn’t be much of a learning curve. I think even for a beginner, it would be super easy to use. I really think this one is going to be my new favorite tool.

I think it's a little pricey, but I like that it doesn't burn my fingers, my hair glides through it better than others I've used and it curls better.

I’ve been struggling to curl my hair and get the nice beach waves, but this tool made it so much easier! I still need more practice, but it worked great and I think I did pretty well on the first try! It also cut the curling time in half. I was a little skeptical at first, but overall very happy with this product!

My hair is fine and does not hold a curl for long without a ton of product. Thought this wouold be the answer with the cooling fan feature. Well, this did not work for me like anything close to the videos. I think the barrel is a lttle too large for me. My hair is shoulder length. At best, I got a frizzy wave. I did not use their name brand heat protector but did use one that has worked for me and tried 2 tempetures. I gave it 3 stars as this is a good idea but more of 2 star of its effectiveness for me. I found it a bit "gimmicky."

If I could give this less than 1 star I could. The product is extremely difficult to work with. It is hard to get your sections of hair in place. It is no where near able to get close to the roots so you have a unfinished gap. It does not clench/seal/grip strong enough to effectively preform either the straight or curl function. The buttons are located on the worst spot possible being that when you use it you are constantly turning them up or down of off. If you try to use the curl option .. forget it. You will ruin your hair. It will burn. It will break. It will smell. There is no way to glide it through. There is no way to twist and losen. It will get stuck and burn. It does not rotate. This is a terrible terrible hot tool. I’ve had basically zero very hot tool made. This cool air feature sounded cool in theory but also gets turned off and basically does nothing. It’s not cool air that blows out. My straight up plain Jane straighter curls my hair 100x better. I was Interested in this concept but wished I would have went with the l’ange. But this was on sale and now I clearly know why. Ladies. Spend the extra money and buy the L’ange. You and your hair will thank me.
