This is a weird little knife. The company is named Slitzer Germany, making you think it might be a German knife. But they seem to be a company in Texas. The knife itself is made in China, not Germany.But as a food service grade knife, I'm extremely happy with my purchase after two uses. The price can't be beat. The handle works well for my any my hand size. The blade doesn't seem cheap or flimsy. It came quite sharp.

This is a very sturdy feeling knife. The knife profile is thicker than most bargain stamped blades and does not feel wobbly or flimsy even when chopping hard vegetables like potatoes, onions, or carrots. The handle is a firm plastic with a grainy texture so even with when wet you can get a good grip. I have not tested how long the edge lasts but I compare this Slitzer favorably to the Victorinox Fibrox Pro, a knife which costs about $50 right now on Amazon. Great buy at < $10.
