Q: I have a large area that paint has flaked off can I use this to fill it before I put on new paint?

Hi there! It’s a great paint for putting straight onto plaster - so good in fact that I put a second coat on and left it as my matt white finish! That said, it’s probably a shade thin to use to fill-in or smooth flaky surfaces. Hope that helps!

Absolutely! I painted the ceilings throughout using the Berger and it's easily thick enough to cope with hairline cracks. Two years later and job still done and no discolouration!

Q: Mis-read tub, how to use said 40% water, so watered down, did mist coat! Got lots of streaks/ drips. Should I lightly sand, reapply coat from tub?

I found I had to use a brush (straight from the tub) as a roller gave a poor finish. The mistake I made was doing a second coat which came out very streaky, I too had to sand it off and put on another coat but I used normal matt paint for the last coat which worked well. It does sand off easily but is very dusty.
